Man Holds Monkey Doll With Obama Sticker At Palin Rally (VIDEO)

CBS reports:

As the crowd cheered at a Sarah Palin rally this morning in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, a man in the audience grinned as he held up a stuffed monkey doll with a Barack Obama bumper sticker wrapped across its forehead.

After Palin finished her remarks this morning, the man holding the stuffed monkey seemed to notice that a video camera was pointed at him, at which point he removed the Obama sticker from the doll's head and crumpling it up in his hand. He then handed the doll to a young boy who was watching the rally from his father's shoulders. The boy's parents later told CBS News that they weren't acquainted with the man who gave their son the stuffed monkey.

PROUDAMERICAN23...nothing wrong with free speech. The problem is that McCain and Palin have chosen to ATTACK Barack Obama at their Republican political rallies in the public spheres. For them, that was an actual act of "double suicide." The fact that Rev. Wright preached his fiery sermons in HIS own church should really be no one's business. And by the way, in case you've forgotten, Obama was ONLY 8 when William Ayers was out there in all his radical glory. Apparently, he was taken off the so-called list a long time ago or guess what???...He'd be in prison serving time right now. It's not Obama's fault that this man was released and set free, he was kid for crying out. Also...keep in mind, that when Obama served on that board with Ayers, it was headed by a REPUBLICAN committee. So if anything, the REPUBLICANS should have been held accountable, not young Barack Obama. This was a useless, worthless, smear and waste of time...nothing more.

One more example of racism that has found a comfortable place for expression at McCain rallies! There needs to be major mainstream coverage on this to help quell it. With out flat out branding this kind of behavior as inappropriate, hate is given permission to rise. Its always under the surface.

It is scary that racism is getting so comfortable expressed against a candidate for the highest office in this land. What has happened to human decency and respect? Unchecked, I can only imagine what kinds of attacks, verbal moving toward physical, will grow toward other people of color in this country.
