NEW YORK — David Letterman and Sen. John McCain will get a chance to make up.

The Republican presidential candidate is scheduled to appear on Letterman's "Late Show" on Thursday.

It will be McCain's 13th visit to the CBS program but his first since he angered Letterman by canceling last month.

Letterman was unhappy when McCain sat for an interview with Katie Couric instead of him on Sept. 24.

At the time he said he first felt like a "patriot" to let McCain off his commitment to deal with the economy but "now I'm feeling like an ugly date."

A McCain spokeswoman said at the time that because of the economic crisis, the campaign "felt this wasn't a night for comedy."

I can only hope the Letterman audience takes its cue from the people who attended the hockey game in Philadelphia this past Friday night.

I would pay to see that.
For them to have Dave open the show, and in the break before McSame comes on, Dave leaves and Keith gets behind the desk and is sitting there when Grampa CrankyPants totters out.

So, if 2 weeks ago was not comedy time, is this Thursday's night any better for the economy to make it a comedy time? What a fake reason! But you know, America is foolish like that. We easily get fooled.

Letterman should ask McCain; : "Since you and Cindy vacationed at Charles Keatings mansion in the Bahama's 9 times, aren't you responsible for 20,000 retirees losing their savings and their pensions"?

"You were in your 50's when you were palling around with one of the biggest financial crooks in our history. Shouldn't a 50 year old be more responsible for the actions of a financial terrorist then an 8 year old?"

Who is Hal Turner?

* In my opinion, based on my first hand experience, I believe Sean Hannity is, in fact, a Hal Turner sort of guy. It seems to me that a big difference between Sean and me is that I am willing to say publicly what I think about savage Black criminals, diseased, uneducated illegal aliens and the grotesque cultural destruction wrought by s-a-t-a-n-i-c j-e-w-s while Sean and many others keep quiet to protect their paychecks.

* On Wednesday, March 19, Malik Zulu Shaba-z-z of the New Black Panther Party appeared as a guest on "Hannity & Colmes" to discuss the Obama / Reverend Wright controversy. During that appearance, Sean Hannity asked Shaba-z-z if Barak Obama shouldn"t be judged by his past affiliations with Reverend Wright, to which Shabazz replied by asking Sean Hannity "Should you be judged by your past association with Hal Turner, a neo-N-a-z-i?"I was quite disappointed when Sean Hannity at first tried to say he didn"t know me and then went on to say that I ran some senate campaign in New Jersey. In fact, Sean Hannity does know me and we were quite friendly a number of years ago.

* I can tell you from my firsthand, personal experience that Sean Hannity does, in fact, agree with many of my political and social views.

Actually, I'm surprise Letterman agreed to even have him on. He's been slamming McCain pretty hard and unless he plans on calling him out on the cancellation and grill him over choosing Palin as a running mate, Letterman is going to end up looking weak and hypocritical. And I would hate to see that happen because I love the man!

And if Letterman IS going to call McCain out, as he should- then what is McCain THINKING going on there? It's just one more nail in his campaign's coffin!

"And for tonight's guests, first off, joining us, fresh from saving the American economy from the brink of ultimate disaster, please welcome J.ohn 'Mavericky" Mc.Cain.

And also with us tonight, special guests, Mr. Ahmad Hussein, an Arab American father of three; Bill Ayers, from Chicago; and Anchorage Chief of Police, Walt Monegan.

C'mon out and say hello to the Senator from Arizona!"

John McCain is going on Letterman to explain his 10 Top Reasons for his Performance in Wednesday's Last Debate:

10. Was distracted by watching Ted Koppel's "The Last Lynching"
9. Tried to remember what it was to nowhere.
8. Kept thinking about why Rolling Stone and Esquire passed him up for an endorsement.
7. Worried why William F. Buckley's son Christopher is voting for Obama.
6. Trying to figure out how to get Ed Rollins to shut up.
5. Had to get a tattoo saying: "Sticks and Stones will Break My Bones, but Names will Never Hurt Me."
4. Beating himself up for not becoming a Democrat when he had a chance.
3. Wished he had worn his $79 Bass pennyloafers when on George H.W. Bush's golfcart.
2. Couldn't get image of Sarah Palin playing the flute out of his mind.

And the Top Ten Reason he had to explain his performance in Wednesday's last debate:

1. Kept chanting "Where is Hillary? Where is Hillary? Where is Hillary? Where is Hillary? Where is Hillary? "
