ABC, NBC Facing Rough Starts To Fall TV Season

ABC and NBC are having a rough go of it in the new season.

ABC's "Private Practice" and "Dirty Sexy Money" and NBC's "Knight Rider" and "Lipstick Jungle" are struggling to find viewers thus far, especially in the "money" demo (adults 18-49).

"Practice" (Kate Walsh) averaged only 7.4 million viewers Wednesday and was down 21 percent in adults 18-49 from the previous week, while "Dirty Sexy Money" was down 17 percent in the 18-49 demo from the week before.

"Lipstick Jungle," meanwhile, managed a meager 4.8 million viewers Wednesday night, while "Knight Rider" shed 1 million viewers.

I find myself either not watching TV at all or watching various shows on cable or news programs. Network TV and their shows are just more of the same and boring.
