Cindy McCain is better known for her more formal attire, so when she dressed down for a NASCAR meet-n-greet on Saturday, we were tickled to see her sporting a pair of Mom Jeans.

But, in all fairness, Mom Jeans have sort of been making a comeback, so we'll consider Cindy ahead of the curve on this one.

I have no problem with her choice of jeans. I really don't need to see Cindy McCain running around in a pair of Rock & Republic skinny jeans. She can wear whatever jeans she wants as far away from the white house as possible. Far, far away.

So the media declares a certain kind of jeans "Mom Jeans" and therefore they are then reprehensible. So then everyone wears jeans that show their butt crack. Then the media declares that "Mom Jeans" are coming back, so everyone likes them again.

Does anyone notice how this scenario resembles an election? Is there any hope that American people will realize the extent to which they are conditioned by a media that employs behavior modification experts?

Wowsers. I thought Cindy was *much* older than she really is (she's only 54). She usually looks much older and she seems so... breakable.
