Tina Fey On Sarah Palin: "If She Wins...I'm Leaving Earth"

Tina Fey told TVGuide she'll be "done" if John McCain and Sarah Palin win the election next month.

The "SNL" veteran who has come back to play the Republican Vice Presidential candidate (and whose own show, "30 Rock," is still nowhere to be seen), said, "We're gonna take it week by week. If she wins, I'm done. I can't do that for four years. And by 'I'm done,' I mean I'm leaving Earth."

Fey also said it's a busy but exciting time for "SNL."

"Election time is always good for [SNL] and this is a bonkers election," she said. "And that lady is a media star. She is a fascinating person, she's very likeable. She's fun to play, and the two bits with Amy [Poehler], that was super fun," Fey says.

A place where people are told to follow the party line and the leader of the community, no matter what. There is no room for discussion and open ideas. Sound familiar? I must say that, unlike MIKEinNYC, Tina Fey is funny.

But then, Tina Fey has a hilarious character to talk about. On the other hand, MIKEinNYC only has Palin's impersonator to talk about, and he doesn't have a team of brilliant writers to feed him lines.

MIKE now has a national forum (HuffPo) to voice his opinion, similar to Tina Fey. He hasn't shown any reluctance to make use of that forum. Therefore, only difference between MIKE and Tina Fey is that she has a larger forum.

Actually, the thought of Hollywood along with the SNL crew leaving for another world is the best hopeful news I have heard all morning.
