Tina Fey On Sarah Palin: "If She Wins...I'm Leaving Earth"

Tina Fey told TVGuide she'll be "done" if John McCain and Sarah Palin win the election next month.

The "SNL" veteran who has come back to play the Republican Vice Presidential candidate (and whose own show, "30 Rock," is still nowhere to be seen), said, "We're gonna take it week by week. If she wins, I'm done. I can't do that for four years. And by 'I'm done,' I mean I'm leaving Earth."

Fey also said it's a busy but exciting time for "SNL."

"Election time is always good for [SNL] and this is a bonkers election," she said. "And that lady is a media star. She is a fascinating person, she's very likeable. She's fun to play, and the two bits with Amy [Poehler], that was super fun," Fey says.

What a fool. An actor should be able to play any role they can master. And she is very good in this role. Most of the credit goest o similar body styles. Her career was almost dead. She was consigned to other losers like Alec Baldwin and now has a chance to breakout. But, she is a fool. Maybe she is like the Hale Bop comet people. She will join them. Who knows, she is an idiot.

Anyone who says they are leaving the country if a particular candidate wins is an idiot. Whatever happens in the election, you get behind the President, no matter if you voted for him or not, and hope the country succeeds. I just can't believe people want to see bad news happen to our country just so their side can win. I hated it when my republican friends used to smile when Clinton went through problems in his presidency, and the same with my democratic friends who like it when Bush is doing bad. Actually I want to amend my original statement, I wish all partisans would leave the country so we can actually have a real dialogue anymore.

I hear you. But Bush has destroyed America and what it represented for an ideology called Conservatism. We cannot afford nor stand for anymore. When Fey states she will leave earth it means she will not support the President. We do not have an obligation to support a strategy such as what we've all just lived through. In fact we are unpatriotic when we do. Had we all spoke up in 2003 there would not have been what we refer to as Iraq. Has we all not been scared crapless by Bush in 2004 perhaps we would not have lived through a meltdown of our financial lives.
