Bush-Supporter Dennis Hopper Switches His Vote: "I Pray" Obama Wins

One of Hollywood's few Republicans has switched his vote. Dennis Hopper, 72, told reporters in France that he's praying for an Obama victory, despite decades as a Bush supporter.

"I voted for Bush, father and son, but this time I'll vote for Obama," he told journalists at the opening of a show on his life and work.

"I was the first person in my family to have been Republican," he added. "For most of my life I wasn't on the left."

"I pray God, Barack Obama is elected," he said, calling the current administration's many "lies."

Hopper stars in "An American Carol," a conservative comedy that spoofed Michael Moore and last donated money, in 2004, the RNC.

French Culture minister Christine Albanel also named Dennis Hopper as Commander of the 'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres' medal on Monday night.

There's no excuse for being a Bush supporter. Fortunately we forgive for its own sake. Nothing good about those greedy hogs at all. Nothing worthy of the most meager support. Not for a fleeting moment. They are a simply a polished Crime Family that have thrived on blood, thievery, death and horror for generations going back to second rate roots in Baronial or Ducal Duchess class, and all inflicted for nothing but money to the benefit a few little piggies in their immediate tribe. There is nothing noble nor charitable in their approach to life. What could one reasonably "support? "The Bush Crime family, like all of them, do not understand the identical nature of their electrostatic energy base with the rest of us.

They sure got a lot from so much mediocrity. That, in its own upside down sort of reality, is perhaps meritorious and worthy in and of itself.

I am also praying Obama wins. If he doesn't we are screwed. When Bush won the second time, I cried for days. If McCain wins I will go into survival mode and start putting my money in coffee cans and under my mattress. I will also start storing can goods. I may also look into digging an underground shelter with supplies.

I don't pray, but I am very hopeful that Obama will lead this country out of the emotional and economical despair that Bush and his supporters (i.e. McCain) has drove the country into.

When Bush Pere won, I was absolutely devastated and got really really wasted.... All of the issues in Backlash chapter 2 were repeated and somewhat expanded by his son...What a waste of our time and money and credibility....We would have been so much better off without either of them...

Finally the public is becoming aware of how badly they have been sold down the river and now will even vote for a black man or a woman rather than the snakes...
