I guess people love watching right-wing media propaganda. Its like a car acciden that you can't keep your eyes off of.

I hope Obama - Biden bring back the fairness doctrine; I'd love to see the look on Murdoc's face
when all of a sudden it's Fair and Balanced for real or there goes your FCC license....

Why because the left can't handle operating their own news program or radio show? theres more right wingers then you would be led to believe

I never seen a more sexist station the way the owner is using women to attract an audience. I’m sure many of the female journalists on this station are anger by the way they are used, but with jobs hard to find I don’t blame these women. Fox News owned by a foreigner, who is only interested in controlling Americans, we need to stop letting foreigners control our lives.

It may be time for ALL the media to consider the user flight effects of Campaign Overkill.

The folly of demonizing one candidate in order to glorify another-- when many of us can't help but notice that both are a reciprocally Bad Idea --just makes a great many of us avoid what was formerly news time. There is an estimated 45% increase in the undecided vote this year.

As a result of being offered what amounts to a choice between strychnine and cyanide, I decided early on to acknowledge the obvious and not prefer either .
So I've switched from being the most compulsive of news junkies to a History and Travel Channel addict when I turn the TV on at all. I don't even bother with my customary Daily Show any more. Shooting fish in a barrel was never my idea of wit.

The one thing I do owe Obama and McCain is a debt of thanks for making it possible for my remote to gather dust.
I skip any print article that contains candidate names. So this makes my reading time far more open to catching up on nightstand reading

I consider it my civic duty to vote for the person I feel is most competent . So I could never morally, logically or pragmatically choose either .

I am writing in the obvious choice. If that person isn't the winner-- well, I fulfilled my part of electoral responsibility and will not know one moment of buyer's regret

It's simple, America loves shock jocks. We love the wow factor. Everyone knows Fox News is insane but it is entertaining. We are waiting for the next crazy thing theyll say or do. It's has the same impact as Jerry Springer.

Gotta be because so many of those wingnuts don't have computers, can't go online and see what's the latest intheir small, lonely. paranoid reality. Poor, dangerous slobs.

It makes perfect sense.

The people who are going to get their news from only one TV source are going to watch Fox News and almost nothing else. Everyone else is going to spread their viewing around more.

It's kind of like the 2000 or 1992 elections.

That is frightening, isn't it..?
12:58 PM on 10/15/2008
terribly frightening, lately I have been thinking that half of the people who voted in the last 2 presidential elections voted for George Bush-TWICE ( can you imagine saying 'I voted for George Bush in 2 elections'???) -terrifying !-Happy Halloween.
02:21 PM on 10/15/2008
seeing as Pres Bush received more votes than any two term president in history shows that there were quite a few Bush Democrats out there
12:00 PM on 10/15/2008
58 million Americans voted for Bush in 2004. What else would they watch? Fix News still tells them they were right to vote that way. Still says victory in EYE-RACK is possible. Fix News is like watching that show Cops. Dumbing down America for all its worth.

This article give a deceptive impression that Faux has the most viewers. However if you combine the viewers of all the other news networks ( that are slightly less insane than Faux), it tells another story. As for the fact that Faux has more viewers than TBS or USA, those are not news networks, so it is a comparison of apples and oranges. This reminds me of something Groucho Marx said: "... Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... now you tell me what you know."

He also said: "This is so simple a child of 5 can do it. Fetch us a child of 5."
he also said: "i would not belong to a club that would have someone like me for a member." just after being turned down by the LA Country Club.
