In an interview with conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin explained her reasoning in going on the attack against Barack Obama. Asked why she was more "forceful" than her running mate, she said: "Rush, I've got nothing to lose in this and I think America's got everything to gain by understanding the differences, the contrasts here between Obama and McCain."

Watch:

Palin also argued that the media wants her to "sit down and shut up," before making an unprompted assault on Obama and ACORN.

Limbaugh: "The media is covering up for him. That is why there's so much admiration for you. The New York Times said you were a great speaker....your forcefulness and your opinions are driving away moderates. This is just an attempt to get you to stop."

Palin: "Well, yes, I guess that message is they do want me to sit down and shut up, but that's not gonna happen. I care too much about this great country. ... Speaking of some of those associations...lets talk quickly about ACORN and the unconscionable situation that we are facing right now with voter fraud, given the ties between Obama and ACORN and the money his campaign has sent them...Obama has a responsibility to reign in ACORN and prove that he is willing to fight voter fraud....for shame if the mainstream media were to cover this one up."

Asked if she had a political career beyond this election, Palin said, "That's a good question. No, because I am thinking about November 4th, and I am just so absolutely passionate about the job that we have in front of us from now to November 4th."

Geez, she already forgot she is still Governor of Alaska. I guess in her mind that isn't important any more.

Here are stupid palin quotes:

"As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border." --Sarah Palin, explaining why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience, interview with CBS's Katie Couric, Sept. 24, 2008

"Well, let's see. There's -- of course -- in the great history of America rulings there have been rulings." --Sarah Palin, unable to name a Supreme Court decision she disagreed with other than Roe vs. Wade, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008

"All of 'em, any of 'em that have been in front of me over all these years." --Sarah Palin, unable to name a single newspaper or magazine she reads, interview with Katie Couric, CBS News, Oct. 1, 2008

"I'll try to find you some and I'll bring them to you." --Sarah Palin, asked by Katie Couric to cite specific examples of how John McCain has pushed for more regulation in his 26 years in the Senate, CBS interview, Sept. 24, 2008

"That's exactly what we're going to do in a Palin and McCain administration." --Sarah Palin, elevating herself to the top of the ticket, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Sept. 18, 2008

"I told the Congress, 'Thanks, but no thanks,' on that Bridge to Nowhere." –Sarah Palin, who was for the Bridge to Nowhere before she was against it

In the past two elections, at least the dems waited until the were actually cheated before they called bullshit on the Repubs!

Symbolism over Substance! I remember Rush Limbaugh talking about this many times on his radio show back in the mid 90s. Now, I can't think of a better example of that he was talking about then with Palin now...

Sarah Palin is correct. She doesn' have anything to lose, except character, dignity and integrity. These traits hold no importance to her.

Palin is a classic narcissist who'll step over a dying person to reach for a trophy. She has no conscience......but then that would require a brain so enough said on that point. She's lying to herself when she says she "has nothing to lose." There are people in Alaska who aren't so enamored with her as she is with herself and now that they've had a chance to see her behavior on a full out national scale, she may find herself under a different form of scrutiny. True that for once, Alaska is actually a state that is finally recognized as being "important" but the cost of it will never be forgotten. Even if McCain/Palin win, there will not be an opportunity to live down the disasters yet to come. Heads of state will find her an easy target of blatant insipid stupidity. Say it ain't so Sarah! Come on and bring in the six packs to pass amongst foreign leaders. Oh by the way, did you know it's considered an insult to touch the hand of a Middle Eastern dignitary unless he so decides? Did you know that you never look above the shirt collar of a Japanese dignitary when addressing him until the "right moment" due to political requirements? Did you know that you always say "no" several times before accepting tea before a Chinese dignitary? Sarah....did you know?

Having this Femi-Not-See on Rush Limberger's show is so ironic. He long ago attempted to smear true feminists with that lame and classless epithet, and now we have him sitting down with, and complimenting, a woman who holds near and dear to her "heart" the tactics of the brown shirt Not-Sees in the 20's and 30's of the 20th century! He didn't mean for that term to apply to one of his own, but I can think of no other woman who exemplifies the manipulation of the mob into an ultra-violent tool, than Sarah Palin, the original Femi-Not-See!

Why are the democrats so dumb. Why doesn't anyone publish a list of all the members that serve with Obama and Ayers on the board founded by a Repulican.. I guarantee you there are conservative republicans on the board. I guess all the board members must terrorist sympathizers.
Please I beg someone explain to me why the list is not published.

WOW, what a pair, Limbaugh and Palin. If a third liar was to enter their conversation they wouldn't have a chance.

Actually, she's quite correct to state she has "nothing to lose", since her credibility, stature, honor, integrity and chances of success are now in the deepest part of the garbage pail.

You are so right. This lady and I use the term loosely is a very pathetic creature. She may be a governor but is definitely lacking intelligence. She surely has nothing to lose, nothing at all. All sense of decency was lost weeks ago. Her vicious attacks on Senator Obama were a new low. She is enciting hatred and division on the campaign trail. She is effectively race baiting. She is bringing out the cellar dwellers of society. What I viewed on the replays at her rallies appears to be a bunch of racist, zealots, and extremist. The governor did not bat an eyelash, wait a minute maybe she did wink. She seems to be at home with these cellar dwellers, very much at home.

After eight years of the Bush administration, the Republican Party -- to put it bluntly -- is a mess and a fraud.

The Republican Party said it believed in free and unfettered competition, but it picked winners and losers through a system of crony capitalism. All it takes to make my point is a name: Jack Abramoff.

The Bush tax cuts, which heavily favored the wealthy, showed that the president and his allies in Congress didn't believe in progressive taxation. I think that's outrageous, but the administration goes further and actually seems to prefer a regressive tax scheme. That's the only explanation I can think of for why hedge fund managers making hundreds of millions of dollars a year pay taxes at a lower rate than their chauffeurs.

Now that it's election time, the party -- as usual -- is trying to convince Americans that it stands on the side of the little guy. Sarah Palin has been trotted out to convince everyone that the party cares deeply about the eternal roster of cultural issues -- God, guns, gays, abortion, etc. If McCain and Palin were elected, the party would doubtless return these issues to the storage locker until the next election, at which point they would be dusted off once more.

When a political party reaches the point of lurching incoherence, the most effective cure is a good, long spell in the wilderness. Americans should help Republicans out by sending them home to get their act together.

The thought of Palin "getting to work" as a member of our national administration is terrifying. I would sooner see BIll Ayers on the Supreme Court than Sarah Palin in the Whitehouse! "I have nothing to lose," she blithely opines. Palin is a woman without moral fiber, responsibility, a sense of history or respect for achievement. That she would seek a national office through a campaign of obfuscation, character assasination, inciting of racial hatred the low point of which has been six separate incidents in the last two weeks of attendees threatening a presidential candidates life is absolutely appalling. She makes George W's slacker/bum standard of presidential ethics a plantinum standard in comparison to her naked self interest and insipid superficiality. I am more disgusted than I have been since the peak of the civil rights movement. God help us all.

Am I the only one who's tired of hearing Palin's sloppy talk?

Doin, goin and betcha - I guess our public school system is as bad as they say. We had eight years of GWB butchering the English language. Enough is enough.

And by the way - it's nuclear not nucular - how difficult can it be to read and pronounce it correctly?!

You are DEFINITELY not the only one who is tired of how she talks. But I guess she thinks that is how Joe Sixpack talks. She is REALLY getting on my nerves. I wonder if her whole family talks like that. Isn't there a law which prohibits running for VP if your IQ is in the minus range and you can't quite master the officical language of the country?
