Palin Rally: "Kill Him" Yelled Again

Via Politico, The Scranton Times reports another threat against Barack Obama at a Sarah Palin rally Tuesday:

Chris Hackett addressed the increasingly feisty crowd as they await the arrival of Gov. Palin.

Each time the Republican candidate for the seat in the 10th Congressional District mentioned Barack Obama the crowd booed loudly.

One man screamed "kill him!"

At previous rallies, McCain-Palin supporters have shouted "Kill Him!" as well as "Treason!" "Terrorist!" and "Off With His Head!"

The latest violent call came on the same day that Brave New Films has come out with a compilation of these moments, urging supporters to "tell John McCain to end the politics of hate."

McCain, and more so Palin, have lit a fire and have no intention of putting it out. If they did, they would address it directly.

Their lack of concern for the damage that could result is beyond alarming. It is outright dangerous.

Are these the acts of "Mavericks"? No, they are the acts of people who do not care about the harm they cause, only the benefits they gain.

The problem with negative ads and negative behavior is that you can never go back. Even if you announce that you are no longer going to use negative campaign tactics (ala Norm Coleman) for ethical reasons how do you explain why you used them in the first place, when the obvious real reason is they are not working

Keith Olberman's special comment tonight was all over this and when he had BillO as the Worst Person he couldn't even joke like he alwasy does about BillO winning that prize. To have the GOP campaign continue to call out for someone to "Kill Him" meaning to Kill Obama is beyond shameful to our country. The GOP and it's ticket by saying nothing about these people who yell out these threats and the negatives of "terrorist" etc which we have all heard about if not heard the repeats on videos, but by saying nothing says they support these wingnuts. They must agree with their yells or they would tell them to shut the hell up. McCain went on interivews saying he has heard as bad at democrat rallys but I would think he has no case there at all. No how no way has anyone said anything including BOOs without Obama/Biden saying "No we don't need that". Never has there been anyone yelling the and the "kill him" at a dem rally so McCain must be hearing things.

The people in that clip are some sad ignorant people on a scale that simply can't be measured. What's sad is that many people seem to ignore that Obama is biracial,he is just as white as he is black and vice versa .

I applaud Obama for the courage he has and his political endeavor is exposing America to the world because the world is definitely watching.

Wouldn't it be cool if the heathens that believe in "the Rapture" are right? Except that science improves, and a cheap method of escape from this planet is found with a better destination? They're standard and repeated comment is, Secret Service Agents didn't hear any threats. That's a very peculiar answer when you see the videos or listen to the audios.

Just talked to my 85 year old neighbor. She is voting OBAMA/Biden!

I asked her if what she thought of the "Obama is scary" tactics, aimed at seniors like herself.

While phone banking tonight, I spoke to a 78 year old woman. When I asked if she was supporting Obama--she said that she had just filled out her absentee ballot for O and it was ready to go in the mail!!!

I've had more than one experience like that with seniors over the past few weeks.

If Michelle Obama was part of an organization that wants to "Become a separate and Independent Nation." America would be outraged. If Michelle Obama even gave a speech to such a group Obama would be about 10% in the polls. America wold not tolerate it.

What about Todd Palin? He has really "palled" around with the Alaska Independent Party? Where is the outcry from this? I never see him where a flag lapel? But we demand Barack Obama wear one to show his patriotism. Are we so hard hardened that we will accept anybody with lipstick and any secessionist? Just as long as the person is not of color.
