WASHINGTON — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton puts the chances of her running for president again at near zero _ slightly higher than the chances she gives for becoming Senate majority leader or a Supreme Court justice.

In an interview aired Tuesday on "Fox & Friends" on the Fox News Channel, Clinton, D-N.Y., was asked the chances, on a scale of 1 to 10, that she would be the next majority leader in the Senate.

"Oh, probably zero," she said. "I'm not seeking any other position than to be the best senator from New York that I can be."

Being nominated to the Supreme Court?

"Zero," Clinton said. "I have no interest in doing that."

Running for president again?

"Probably close to zero," she said. "There's an old saying: Bloom where you're planted."

The former first lady, who was elected to the Senate in 2000 and re-elected in 2006, said she looked forward to working as a senator with a Barack Obama administration.

You don't say, Hillary. Could it be because there is a woman on the political stage now that is the dirtiest political figure that we've seen since those running for "guv'na" in the old South? If you hadn't tried to truss and carve Obama in the primaries, he might have chosen you as his veep. Now, no matter who is the victor, Sarah Palin will raise her ugly head again and make mince meat of you if you run against her. Too bad. We Dems could have used your talents.

Palin is done. Nobody is taking her seriously (and by that I mean within the republican party) and her negatives are sky rocketing.

As much as I hated Clinton's campaign, it did make Obama a MUCH better candidate and it is the main reason the Wright and Ayers stuff has no traction now. (also helped him in the debate prep, which was a liability before)

If all of that noise was just starting to cycle now, it would be a different race now and Obama would be struggling.

Obama didn't chose here as his VP because she doesn't add anything new to the ticket. Choosing Hilary would not have made a stronger ticket, it would have only pandered to female voters.

Also, you make it sound as though she actually wanted to be his Veep, which I don't think she did.

Again, why don't you Obamaniacs leave Hillary alone? Good God, your candidate won! He's up in the polls. The MSM is in love with him. He is all but assured the Presidency and you're STILL whining about Hillary Clinton? Move on!

What is your problem? As an Obama supporter, I give Hillary a ton of credit for helping to make him the candidate he is today. She tested him on every level and it is only because of her that he stands up so well to Mccain today. Furthermore, I am not one of those people who would have taken my vote home if Hillary had won. Like many of her loyal backers, I would have laid down my feelings and resentments, rolled up my sleeves and went to work for her. I KNOW what is at stake and I am not willing to let my personal issues get in the way of the bigger picture.

Thank you Hillary....

Not an Obamamaniac, a Republican. Who else would suggest that Palin run for anything.

I like Hillary now that she isn't running against Obama. I think she would make a great president but can do more in the Senate then as president.

I think she would be great in a cabinet position. Health and Human Services. What she and Obama could do for health care would be simply amazing! Although he wasn't my original first choice, I have been behind Obama 110% since Hillary conceded! Barrack is going to be a wonderful president! He is at the right place and time in history.

Watching Sarah Palin speak on the news right now reminds me of how absolutely superior Hillary Clinton is.

As one who was truly turned off by her campaign, I am glad to see her out there raising hell for Obama. I think she has been good on her word, and has done what was asked of her (and this is from a pretty harsh critic).

I never had a problem with her on policy issues (she and Obama are very similar in that regards) and she would be a MUCH better Senate majority leader than Reid. (Ok, that's a pretty low bar- she would be a great majority leader period)

She knows policy. Knows politics (just picked some truly incompetent folks to run her campaign) and clearly knows how to flex muscle to get things done. With Obama calling the shots and Clinton bashing the Senate Dems into order, we could actually see some pretty serious legislative accomplishments.

Too bad about her feelings concerning the Supreme Court. I think she'd make a great addition.

She would be a fantastic Secretary of State or even better a Supreme Court Judge.

Me too. She respectfully put that idea off the table, where it doesn't belong at this point, for a while if not indefinitely.

That's probably a wise decision Hill, as you alienated an awful lot of Democrats and Independants during your recent campaign. You wouldn't be able to attract much $$$$ or many votes.

Hillary is one, if not THE smartest Senator in the US Senate today (Orrin Hatch comes close). She made some bad political moves in the 1990s and during this primary season which is why she isn't a hair's breath away from being President today. What's astounding is that most of the rabid right wingers who hate her can't even give a good reason for their hatred. They just do. They'll cite nonsense like she's a b*tch, a socialist (pablum), a murderer (crap), a lesbian (untrue, but even if it were so what?), a crook (no less or no more than all the other politicians we hold in esteem from FDR to Reagan). In the end, I think its that most Americans begrudge her unabashed intelligence and her refusal to act the dumb woman (unlike Liddy Dole who is a Harvard grad., and Sarah Palin who is genuinely stupid). The intellect has always been attacked in this country, and anyone who doesn't pretend to be folksy, low brow, or "part of the common folk" (whatever that means) is fodder for attack and invectives.

Her presence does provide a stark contrast to Sarah Palin as a credible and competent potential world leader. I hope she will continue to inspire women to pursue positions of leadership.

McCain-Palin said: drill baby drill and the lioness of senate said jobs baby jobs.

Please share this video to 20 people until election day to remind everyone not to be fooled again.
