Conservative Columnist Says White House Officials Want Palin Off Ticket (VIDEO)

Last month, conservative columnist Kathleen Parker wrote a scathing column saying that Gov. Sarah Palin (R-AK) is "way out of her league" as the GOP's vice presidential candidate and called on the Alaska governor to "bow out" of the race in order to "save McCain, her party, and the country she loves."

Parker has subsequently noted angry responses from conservatives around the country. "To the GOP base, predictably, I'm a traitor," Parker wrote.

Last night on the Colbert Report, Parker reiterated her belief that Palin is not qualified for the GOP ticket, but she also revealed that some White House officials have told her that they secretly agree:

COLBERT: Now but you said you got emails from people in the White House who secretively -

PARKER: Did I say that?

COLBERT: Yes you did. You said you secretly got emails from people in the White House but you wouldn't name who they were, who said that they agreed with you.

PARKER: That's correct.

If all of McCain's flip flopping hasn't convinced america of McCain's mental imbalance, his selection of Palin as his vp should. She is unfit, unintelligent, dilusional, and inept. Her ridiculous husband follows her around acting like he's something special when he is nothing more than a fisherman with no college education! We want these people running our country? If McCain were to win, then Palin definitely needs to go. If McCain is going to lose, then leave her where she is. She is very good at digging deep, dark holes. She's gonna be doggie doo-doo when she gets back to Alaska.

Breaking news!!

Well it appears that Sista Sa rah maybe headed for the Big House after the Alaska Personnel Board is finish with her.

At 7;44 AM on 10/14/08 Alaska time, the Alaska Personnel Board expanded Sarah Palins investigation. They have other "Ethics Complaint' bringing the total to three.

1. State Hiring Practices
2. Breach of Personnel Files
3. The Public Safety Employee's Association plan to add a complaint of harassment against State
Trooper Mike Hooten.
According to the correspondence from the board's investigator. This is the same board that she hired
I guess the add'l. 800 pages of the report that was confidential had incriminating info. This was in today's Juneau Empire online newspaper. I guess under oath those employee's spill the beans.

Village Voice dated 10/8/08 Titled - "THE BOOK OF SARAH PALIN" about her house in Wasila.
Per a blogger in Wasilla who gave the link, there is an investigation underway stating that the buddies Todd was referring to as the contractors who helped him build the house are the same
contactors that built the Sport Complex down the street from where Palin house was being built at the same time. The irony of it is , the house was being built while she was Mayor, and what she did was blocked an effort to require the filing of building permits in the wide open city. There is no public records of who those buddies were. It so happens some of the suppliers are the same ones who did Ted Stevens house. There is some infomation on the Daily Kos, but it is nothing like the five pages in the Village Voice. Sista Sa rah is Ted Steven in a skirt.

I felt the same way that Parker said she felt about Palin from the first I heard she was the pick for VP. I was astonished at the huge bump McCain got in the polls, but that hasn't lasted.

The Republicans are now playing the blame game. They can't blame the GOP machine, the RNC big wigs, Karl Rove, or even McCain. So who do they blame?

They blame Sarah Palin, a sacrificial lamb of a candidate if there ever was one.

They trotted her out in the hope that she'd win over the fire-breathing conservatives who've been the core supporters of the GOP, supporters you could trust to come out and vote. She did that, and she kept up her end of the bargain.

But the whole gamble failed. And now, they're socking it to her with unbridled venom.

In truth, its not her fault. Its the fault of McCain, the GOP, the RNC, and the Rovian goons who McCain - and Palin - trusted.

I am one who is pretty tired of the "poor Sarah Palin", "it's not her fault", "she's only doing what she is told". I believe she is a consenting adult. She is responsible for her own words and actions....And if, for some reason, she is not responsible, then she is not qualified to be a heartbeat away.
