I Like ItI Don’t Like It

The disdain for Obama is nearly dripping from McCain's mouth.

"I admire so much Sen. Obama's eloquence," he said, "and you really have to pay attention to words. He said we can 'look at' offshore drilling. You got that? 'Look at.' We need to do it now."

He then criticizes Obama for never traveling to the southern hemisphere, citing it as a reason why he doesn't support the Colombia Free Trade Agreement.

"Maybe you ought to travel down there and visit them and maybe you can understand them a lot better," McCain said, disregarding the fact that his running mate has only been to two other countries and just recently got her passport.

As Obama gave his response, McCain rolled his eyes dramatically.

I missed it live, but now it just makes me laugh. It's the same face my dad makes when he thinks his "girls" are ridiculous.

Obama.......once again graceful, tactful, to the point, polite, reserved, on task, calm, collected, direct......a leader, with vision and hope who will not stoop into the depths of mudslinging. He never lost his focus or his patience, despite the combativeness of McCain. Obama is the kind of person we want to run and represent our country. The condescending eye-rolling heaving and sighing, smirking negative nancy is not who we want or need. McCain just couldn't stop himself. It's time he retired.

So very well-said!

You are so right. Obama did himself proud. What patience. He had to listen to this grating, irritating, annoying Mr. Earbore, who smirked and grimaced and was in general, more or less, out of control.

Barack was presidential and as always clear and to the point. Please don't let the questions concerning Ayers and others bother you. Mr. McMock is on the ropes and I think you have done well in your desire to represent this country and its people. Thanks and now Run Barack Run!

I was having GW Bush flashbacks. McCain showed the same juvenile smirks, the same eye rolls. Immature, angry, ill-tempered. Embarrassing.

the pundits had said that "gore" lost the debates against that failure of a president W. for "sighing-loudly" a few times during their debates back in that nightmare of 2000---

mccain sounded like he was doing some type of respitory treatment???

Just looked constipated to me.
Really adult behavior, John. Just what we need in a leader - NOT!

By being so disrespecful to Obama in front of millions, by rolling his eyes and snarking, he shows disrespect for the people of this country. Obama, on the other hand, is a class act.

McPunk is pathetic. Lets not only kick him in this election, lets throw him out of the senate.

Okay, big Obama supporter here but uhh... maybe I missed it. I didn't see McCain roll his eyes sarcsatically, so much so that they about rolled out of his head, as many here are claiming. What I did see was him raise his eyebrows as if to say "oh really, you think that's how it is?" in response to Obama's claim that there have been no prosecutions. It gave me the impression not that McCain was being petulant, but that he knows something that Obama doesn't. The look said to me that perhaps McCain is aware of information that refutes Obama's claim, and that McCain expected Obama would be aware of that information.

Sorry, guess I'm a baaad dem for not jumping on the McCain dogpile, but I got a totally different message from this clip.

Every Repb in disguise uses the "Obama supporter" line. No need to go undercover. Make your point and move on. He did rolled his eyes and snark. Go watch the video the rest of the world saw.

If what you described was true, you know that foreign policy expert named Mcc wouldn't of been able to hold back. Prime example was when he thought that he knew more about Sen. O.b.ama's healthcare policy than Sen. O.bama, he couldn't wait to say that small businesses would be fined Remember that moment he was caught like a "deer in headlights".

I watched the entire debate so I didn't even bother looking at the clip above. If you have a chance to watch the entire debate you will see that McCain did indeed make faces, noises, and rolled his eyes. I thought the overall tone was snarky and condescending.

Actually what is happening is that John McCain minutes previously had pooped his Depends and the stink is starting to waft up toward McCain's nose and burn his eyes.

McCain batted his eyelashes, rolled his eyes and played the victim of negative ads. According to him, big brave Obama should have defended poor, battered McCain. What a crock!!! Please tell me why anyone would vote for McCain, who couldn't even run his own compaign? This country needs a man who can stay on the real issues, take the higher road and run a strong, smart campaign. We the people financed Obama...not corporate America. Obama is a leader. McCain is a follower...he followed very bad advice at every turn of his campaign. He has no one to blame but himself. And America cannot afford to elect this weak presidential candidate who STILL doesn't understand the economy.
