Secret Service Investigating Palin Rally Obama Threat

The U.S. Secret Service is investigating a threatening remark directed at Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama during a political event in Scranton.

The agency followed up on a report in The Times-Tribune that a member of the crowd shouted, "Kill him!" after one mention of Mr. Obama's name during a rally Tuesday for Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

When I first heard McCain was stepping back a little from his attacks on Obama in stump speeches I immediately thought Secret Service was involved. These guys have to take a bullet for the candidate. I wouldn't be surprised if it was McCain's own detail that told him to tone it down. They were hearing what the crowds were chanting and I bet they were concerned for their Obama counterparts.

It should be easy to find out who said it; just look for the one wearing the white hood--It's sad but true. Watching a mccain or palin rally is like watching an old movie about the deep south and lynchings. Maybe they should first investigate palin--she seems to enjoy bringing out this type of behavior in people and responds to it with giggles and laughs; not behavior for someone who may hold the second highest position of power in the world. John mccain should be ASHAMED for putting her on the ticket.
