I am a native North Carolinian. However, I will be mailing my absentee ballot in Pennsylvania since that is where I am currently residing. Although I would like to see NC turn blue, I'll take " Liddy " being voted out any day.

Asheville, NC here... after receiving 3 separate mailers from the Dole campaign last week, I got a little bit freaked out. Then I saw she is running behind a bit in the polls, so I started feeling better. TODAY, first day of Early Voting in NC, there were hundreds of smiling faces on the people lined up to vote at the downtown polling place. They were the faces of excited Obama voters hoping to help give him a veto-proof Congress by getting rid of Dole and replacing her with terrific Kay Hagan. **** Less than a hundred days till we're out of this nightmare!****
Dole is nothing but a boomerang carpetbagger who, during a recent year (while she was the Senator from North Carolina) she spent all of two weeks in the state.

I'm certain the Republicans are doing in other areas what the Liddy Dole campaign is doing here: They're giving out Kay Hagan's phone number and telling viewers to Call her and tell her they're voting for Dole!! Now, anyone who'll do that is guilty of invasion of privacy! True, its probably NOT Illegal, but it Should Be!
The new Congress will have to pass a lot of new laws to upend the Republicans Scare Tactics Campaigning techniques! The Republicans feel that "If its NOT Illegal, let's DO IT!! Yes, there IS something wrong with that, Trolls!

I can think of quite a few instances where its being illegal didn't stop them.
Dole and Mitch McConnell---both those clowns go and this will indeed be a very special Senate campaign to me.

It was at least a two hour wait to vote. Democrats and their candidates were out in force. So many people with canes, you wonder where the hover-round sales team was.
Even the upper crust white folks had Obama pins on. Many were carrying the Democratic straightline ticket in their hands. Much happiness and talking amongst the crowd.

It is so amazing to read of places where you have to wait in line to vote. My country (and I think all of Washington State) votes exclusively by mail now. I admire you wonderful people who wait, and you are so smart to vote early.. And it sounds like you hare having a lot of fun.

As a Californian, and Obama campaign donor, I came across Kay Hagan's campaign for US senate from NC at some point during the primary season. After looking at Hagan's campaign site, I felt this was someone I wanted to help, so I began donating to her campaign as well. It's been gratifying to see her poll numbers rise steadily through the last few months.
