Press Release:

GLENN BECK JOINS FOX NEWS

Glenn Beck has signed a multi-year agreement to join FOX News, announced Roger Ailes, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FOX News. Beginning next spring, Beck will host FOX News Channel's (FNC) 5 PM/ET weekday program as well as a weekend show on the network.

Currently, Beck serves as the host of Glenn Beck, a talk show on CNN's Headline News which has grown more than 200% in viewership in both the 7pm and 9pm timeslots since its 2006 debut. He also hosts a daily radio show The Glenn Beck Program which is syndicated via Premiere Radio Networks to more than 300 stations nationwide as well as XM Satellite Radio, and ranks as the third most listened to radio talk show in America among adults 25-54.

In making the announcement, Ailes said, "As we embark on a new political landscape, Glenn's thought provoking commentary will complement an already stellar line-up of stars at FOX News"

Prior to his television career, Beck served as a talk radio show host at WFLA-AM in Tampa, FL where he took his program to number one within his first year there. He began his radio career in Corpus Christi, Texas as the youngest Top 40 morning show disc jockey in America at 18 years of age. Beck later moved on to become a top 40 disc jockey in major markets around the country, including Houston, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Phoenix and New Haven, CT.

Beck added, "I am thrilled and profoundly humbled to have the chance to bring my program to FOX News. Expanding my audience is exciting, but I'm really looking forward to joining Mr. Ailes and his world-class team."

A recipient of the 2008 Marconi Award for Network Syndicated Personality of the Year from the National Association of Broadcasters, Beck is also the author of the New York Times bestseller An Inconvenient Book - Real Solutions to the World's Biggest Problems (2007) as well as The Real America - Messages from the Heart and Heartland (2005).

FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour general news service covering breaking news as well as political, entertainment and business news. For more than six years, FNC has been the most watched cable news channel in the nation. Owned by News Corp., FNC is available in more than 90 million homes.

Beck will finally be in the company of his peers, the cranky, unintelligent, emotionally immature crib of FOX. Perfect!

What does everybody have against Little Rush? He's such a good surragot for the cigar chomping blowbag and comedian. Remember, a Little Rush can go a long way,

My husband is rarely home in time to see Glenn Beck and I usually watch Kudlow because he, at least, has to try to stay on this planet, unlike Beck. My husband came in, the show came on and I said, "oh, you said you hate him," and tried to change the channel. My husband said he had never even seen the show and had never said that. Then I replied, "well, maybe it was me." Then we sat there listening to Beck. Beck railed on and said something about FDR being a communist, or the spawn of the devil, or some such. My husband is yelling at the tv, "Hey saved the country!," then turned to me and said, "Now I hate him."

So glad Beck will be up against both Hardball, and FastMoney. I never have a chance to even see him by accident.

Fox News serves as a valuable resource (inadvertently). When someone writes for that site you know they are totally useless, as Beck has shown himself to be.

Now how do we get rid of Nancy Grace and her unholy fixation on Cayley?

It's amazing that clowns like him can earn that kind of money, basically for spewing slime.

Thank God!!! I'll never forget when he was on KC101 in New Haven and, in all his self-righteous glory, was lighting into listeners because they were not getting turkeys to the radio station's Thanksgiving "Stuff a Bus" food drive fast enough. He was berating them for being -- get this -- selfish and uncaring toward their fellow residents. Perhaps he was what kept everyone away. He is the last person who should be throwing stones at people. I was glad when he left CT and am glad he found his way to his fellow troglodytes at FOX.

No doubt, I will no longer have to change the channel, he and the cult over at FOX will do wonderfully together.

I once sat in a barbershop waiting for my turn and the shop owner had Beck's radio program on. I had never before or since heard as much concentrated ignorance coming from a single source. This guy was on a roll and it was all down hill....down the evolutionary chain, appealing to the reptile brain of his audience. I'm sure he will thrive in the toxic enviroment of Fox, where all reason, all intelligent discourse goes to wither and perish.
