Press Release:

GLENN BECK JOINS FOX NEWS

Glenn Beck has signed a multi-year agreement to join FOX News, announced Roger Ailes, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FOX News. Beginning next spring, Beck will host FOX News Channel's (FNC) 5 PM/ET weekday program as well as a weekend show on the network.

Currently, Beck serves as the host of Glenn Beck, a talk show on CNN's Headline News which has grown more than 200% in viewership in both the 7pm and 9pm timeslots since its 2006 debut. He also hosts a daily radio show The Glenn Beck Program which is syndicated via Premiere Radio Networks to more than 300 stations nationwide as well as XM Satellite Radio, and ranks as the third most listened to radio talk show in America among adults 25-54.

In making the announcement, Ailes said, "As we embark on a new political landscape, Glenn's thought provoking commentary will complement an already stellar line-up of stars at FOX News"

Prior to his television career, Beck served as a talk radio show host at WFLA-AM in Tampa, FL where he took his program to number one within his first year there. He began his radio career in Corpus Christi, Texas as the youngest Top 40 morning show disc jockey in America at 18 years of age. Beck later moved on to become a top 40 disc jockey in major markets around the country, including Houston, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Phoenix and New Haven, CT.

Beck added, "I am thrilled and profoundly humbled to have the chance to bring my program to FOX News. Expanding my audience is exciting, but I'm really looking forward to joining Mr. Ailes and his world-class team."

A recipient of the 2008 Marconi Award for Network Syndicated Personality of the Year from the National Association of Broadcasters, Beck is also the author of the New York Times bestseller An Inconvenient Book - Real Solutions to the World's Biggest Problems (2007) as well as The Real America - Messages from the Heart and Heartland (2005).

FOX News Channel (FNC) is a 24-hour general news service covering breaking news as well as political, entertainment and business news. For more than six years, FNC has been the most watched cable news channel in the nation. Owned by News Corp., FNC is available in more than 90 million homes.

Fox is exactly where Beck's second rate intelligence belongs. His Mormon-conservative blinders will fit perfectly with Fox viewers. I wish him well and I'm glad he's now off a legitimate news channel.

It's true that most Mormons are conservative, but that doesn't mean they're conservative because they're Mormon. Harry Reid is a practicing Mormon.

The same Glen Beck who told his radio listeners he wanted to murder Michael Moore....he just didn't know if he should do it himself, or hire it done.

He never really can explain to what his trend of thinking. He just filled many Buzzwords in his discussion with guess or in his commentary. He is going to compete with Bill and Shawn, in order to prove himself that he is worth in Faux News otherwise just another Charlie Gibson. Good Luck to him, and my suggestions to him is pray more to the GOD like Sarah.

Glenn Beck is not exactly plagued by ideas. He is Exhibit A for why some conservatives are concerned about the "dumbing down" of their party and values. I mean, listening to him is just excruciating - he belongs on Fox. I have long wondered how he got his show on CNN.

Glenn lives in his fantasy inside the bubble. His political commentary is literally like watching a stray chasing its own tail. Boy, he's got energy and doesn't know how to use it in a positive direction.

Hey Glen, don't forget to let the door hit you straight in your crack when you go out it, because you talked enough crap and we wanna make sure you keep it right where it belongs.

This clod has been auditioning for a long time to take his half-truths and deceptions and general lunatic commentary to Fox Newstwisters, where he clearly belongs. Like the rest of the crew over there, he is willing to say anything as long as those big bucks keep coming and he demonstrates to Murdoch that he is able to keep the slack-jawed Dupes and Cretins existing out there in the sticks (especially in those places where most rational people would not choose to live) voting and cheering against their own interests.

Glenn Beck is finally going to the right gossip channel where he can talk biased crap like the rest of the Fixed News wannabe self described journalists. Glen will be in great company with Sean Hannity, Brit Hume, Bill OReilly and Rush Limbaugh and all the rest of the fake wannabe real reporters.

This is good news. By keeping creeps like Beck on Faux, I won't have to worry about finding them in some other venue. I hope this means he will be off CNN headline news. i used to watch that channel occasionally, but quit when they signed Beck.

Hey Glenn, don't let the door hit you in the keister. Adios windbag. You and your delusional rants belong on Faux. It's difficult to fathom that Beck currently makes in excess of 10 million a year. Fifty years ago he would have been institutionalized.
CNN please give Jack Cafferty a show, if he wants one. Jack tells it like it is without an agenda.

I agree. Jack Cafferty needs his own show!! Actually, he should take over for Lou Dobbs.

Sobbs should be included in the package with Beck to Faux. His introduction on the show of Mr. Independent -- Hello. CNN -- get your heads out of you a.r.s.e.

Dobbs can now be compared to McCain. McCain of 2000 Straight Talk -- Gone. Dobbs having balanced view -- Gone.
