Honorary Canadian Jeffrey Feldman on Dirty Campaign Rhetoric And Why He Thinks McCain Lost The Debate (Even If Joe The Plumber Won)

Jeffrey Feldman is a scholar, author, commentator, teacher, blogger and expert on speeches and messaging — but in Canada, they know him one half of CBC Newsworld's team of "American political experts." The other half is me — far less American and expert than my partner, and always happy to sit next to him and hear his sharp, thoughtful analysis of goings-on in the campaign. I am also sure to read his "posts on HuffPo — lately among our most popular — like McCain Talks 'Pork,' Voters Think 'Bush!'," "McCain Volunteers Taught to Accuse Obama of Terrorism" and "Palin Rallies Ignite Widespread Talk of Fascism." Today he was particularly smart, so afterward I corralled him for a quick video so people in this country could benefit from his insights, too.

Jeffrey was going straight from the studio to Belgium (well, via the airport) so it was extra-nice of him to take the time. Please remember your friends in Canadian television when bringing back chocolate!
