Joe The Plumber: Obama Tap Dances Like "Sammy Davis Jr."

In a phone interview with CBS' Katie Couric, Joe Wurzelbacher said Barack Obama "tap dance[d] ... almost as good as Sammy Davis Jr." in their conversation. He also said he didn't actually make enough to fall into the group whose taxes would be raised under Obama -- but argued that it was a "slippery slope." Watch:

If anyone doesn't think that "Joe the Plumber" was a plant, then explain how he ended up on Fox news 20 minutes after the debate ended. And explain how McCain's adviser was overhead saying "No, don't go there, he's related to Keating". How would Bush's aid have known that if "Joe" wasn't a plant.

McCain planted "Joe the Plumber" to be able to change the story from Ayres to the "common man". Unfortunately they didn't do any more vetting of "Joe the Plumber" than they did with Sarah Palin and it is already blowing back on them.

However, if the tax structure is set up fairly as the Clinton Admin. had it, everyone makes money, everyone is happy, you have happy clients who are willing to pay you a decent price for your hardwork---its a fantastic "trickle around" time. You won't miss the money, nor will you miss all the money you can contribute to your SEP-IRA. You'll have enough. we did. Now after 8 years we don"t.

I saw the question and answer on television. Obama told him his taxes would go up if he made more than $250,000.0­0. I'm sorry but it should be true that the more you make the more tax you pay....it'­s a percentage of your earnings that you are taxed on. As a business owner you are eligible for deductions that your employees are not eligible for thus giving you tax breaks and deductions unique to being the owner of the business. The $250,000.0­0 figure is income and not inclusive of operating expenses. Obama even told the guy that he couldn't promise him what his tax situation would be without looking at it individually. How, exactly, is that tap dancing?
