Racism At Palin Rally: "Blacks Will Take Over" (VIDEO)

It was kind of strange, dintcha think, that John McCain came to the defense of his supporters last night after Barack Obama pointed out that people at McCain/Palin rallies were shouting out "terrorist" and "kill him!" in reference to Obama.

Now an Al Jazeera camera crew caught the honest sentiments of McCain/Palin supporters at an Ohio rally:

"I'm afraid if he wins, the blacks will take over. He's not a Christian! This is a Christian nation! What is our country gonna end up like?"

Yes, just to make it clear, Mary Crow Dog was talking about the hatred directed toward her people for asserting their rights.

In her book, Lakota Woman, Mary Crow Dog, spoke of the vehement hatred people have for those they have treated unjustly. The same is happening here. They fear an Obama victory will mean that they will be treated the way they treated African-Americans. The morale of this story is, if you want to live without fear, treat all in a just and fair way.

It's too bad people like this are so narrow minded. What he forgets is that this country is a nation of immigrants. We are the descendants of people who came to this great country including this man's family. The original people living in this country before the millions came here are the Native Americans, so when he states that he's afraid of BO, then he's in essence saying that he's afraid of us all ie all immigrants and people living in the US today.

Let me put it this way, 100,000 people in St. Louis, of mixed races, gathering in one spot, millions more around the world waiting in excitement for the first Bi racial male to take the honor as President of the United States. We all, cannot be racist as this crowd in St. Louis proved. We all see beyond biggottry, hatred, race, stupidity and ignorance. Those who don't or can't, its your loss. The thing is this, Barack is willing to look beyond your racism to make sure even the racists get taken cared of, with healthcare, jobs, a healthy economy, education for your kids. That isn't a color, that is a man of honor and decency, who at every occation rises above your blindness. We had 8 miserable years of Bush and his corruption, now we are going to give a guy who happens to be half black the chance to undo that damage Bush created. For my money, Obamma is the better bet for all of us. Its not about what the bible says, its about common sense.

Now I know why so many republicans don't believe in evolution - it must be frightening to string different thoughts together and create a new one. Far too many of the current republican base fear what is different which results in intellectual defiency. Just to let you know, the HATE TACTICS are indeed bringing out the "fringe element" as McCain calls them. On the Chicago channel 5 news last night they reported that three people had received handwritten death threats for having Obama signs in their front yard. The two that were interviewed want to get bigger signs. One, however, has a child and stated that he will have to play inside for awhile. The elderly white woman said it made her feel like this is bringing back "ancient" times and it is all very, very sad for the country.
