Crazy McCain Rally Lady Skit On SNL (VIDEO)

Playing off the recent outburst against Obama at a McCain-Palin rally by Gayle Quinnell, who said she's read of Obama "that he was an Arab," Thursday night's edition of "Saturday Night Live," featured a skit in which a crazy McCain-Palin supporter in a red t-shirt wandered onto the set of "Weekend Update" to proclaim such things as Barack Obama "is 50% Egyptian, he's going to change the White House to a pyramid."

I will watch SNL, but will change the channel when Moooselini come on. Hopefully she will do one skit and get out. If she does the whole show I will not watch at all.

I sent email to SNL just today when I heard the news about McFalin. I watch every week but said I want to have a good laugh, not to watch something so pathetic and said I will not be watching this time. I usually just change the channel here whenever she is on so will do the same Saturday night.

I have friends in their 40s and 50s who have received these e-mails and believe them! I have others who have tried to pass on to me the "Obama is going to Tax you" e-mails and I have rebuked them. I am not very popular right now. Suffice it to say, it's not the seniors that's the problem. It's the Wing Nut haters.

re: hillbilly, as a pretty left-leaning native of Kentucky, can I suggest that the use of the term hillbilly, and its suggestion of contempt for a whole swath of our country, is one of the reasons that progressives open themselves to the charge of elitism? I am disappointed in SNL also. By having her on, first of all, will take steam out of their spoofs of her. Secondly, believe it or not, I think politicians who appear on SNL are given credibility therefore she should not be on the show. However, I believe that no one listens to her anyway(except for her daily gaffes), therefore she won't get a bump in the polls.
