Stephen Baldwin: Obama A "Cultural Terrorist"

Buried in today's New York Daily News is a gem of a quote from Stephen Baldwin:

Stephen Baldwin, who has threatened to move to Canada if Barack Obama is elected, has now challenged the candidate to box for charity. "I'd like to knock some good sense into Barack," Alec's right-wing bro said at the Printing House Gym in the Village. "I wouldn't hurt him. But if he wins the election, he'll hurt me. He's a cultural terrorist." This from the man who enriched us all with "Sex Monster" and "Snakeman."

I am strongly reminded of another famous acting family--th­e Booths of the nineteenth century. The least talented and weakest of the lot was named John Wilkes. Needless to say, we all know the rest of that story. The gifted and the strong are no cause for concern. It's the weaklings we have to worry about.

Now that the election is over and Obama has won I hope that Stephen is packed and ready to leave. Perhaps there's a spaceship he can board.

"hurt me" means ill pay a little more in taxes of course. i wonder who the gym buddy was who wants to "knock a little sense into" sen. obmama.. sounds like a dangerous threat, i suggest a full secret service interview, down at the station of course. as for the canada thing, the sooner the better. alec must be very proud, but of course, i suspect thats what this all about, a ploy to get him out from under the shadow of his older (and better) brother, at the cost of being remembered as one of the gapeing-es­t a**holes in american history.

I bet Canada won't take him. You have to have proof that you are employable­. Why'd he pick a socialized country to 'flee' to anyway? Stephen Baldwin was hoping for a religulous right political career. Obviously the acting thing isn't working out for him.

This guy is nothin but a loud mouth punk. All of a sudden he think's he's a tough guy ? First of all, Obama is much more physically and athletical­ly than this pip squeek, He makes threats like that knowing Obama wouldn't stoop down to his caveman mentality. Obama would put him on his ass.

The next time I see him on the street (I've seen him twice before), I am going to lay him the fu@ck out!!
Then I'll go straight to the ATM, withdraw some money and donate it to charity, just like Stephen said :)

Poor Stephen. He found religion, and like many others, he gave up his ability to think for himself. I for one think it's tragic.
I too feel the need to move to Canada. If McCain wins, we will make no progress here at home or abroad....­.it will be the second stage (George Bush was the first) in the decline of the greatest nation the world has ever known.

What is a "culture terrorist"­? What "culture" is Stephen Balwin afraid of? The African American culture? I think so. Or maybe he is just another functional­ly illiterate­, semi-talen­ted relative of a fine actor who has become wealthy in this country because of the liberal community which allowed him to thrive. How does he feel about the actor's union(a Liberal Guild) which he is a member? As a white daughter of two musicians, I have seen many racists who don't even realize they are. Stephen is one of those. Too Bad. If his name is on the credits, his film's won't been seen in my house. Have fun in Canada!
