Stephen Baldwin: Obama A "Cultural Terrorist"

Buried in today's New York Daily News is a gem of a quote from Stephen Baldwin:

Stephen Baldwin, who has threatened to move to Canada if Barack Obama is elected, has now challenged the candidate to box for charity. "I'd like to knock some good sense into Barack," Alec's right-wing bro said at the Printing House Gym in the Village. "I wouldn't hurt him. But if he wins the election, he'll hurt me. He's a cultural terrorist." This from the man who enriched us all with "Sex Monster" and "Snakeman."

What a waste of air. Talentless, odd-looking and clearly not very smart to begin with, Stephen destroys what little brain he had (along with his liver and kidneys ) and then becomes yet another angry, born-again creep.

I missed the part of the New Testament where Jesus said he was going to "box" good sense into mankind, and nary an unkind word about the Roman occupiers, let alone calling them any kind of terrorists. Stevie might want to check out the parts in the Gospels about the peacemakers being blessed and the meek inheriting, etc.

Fast forward please, to where he has cirrhosis and renal failure, and receives assistance from the "liberal" policies of some government agency.

I agree with Yankee Canuck. If you want to live in Obama land you can move to Canada right now. It's already a European style Left Wing Socialist State with high taxes and $6 a gallon gas. Have you lived in Canada? I have, and let me tell you, their health care system ROCKS. The taxes aren't so bad, since you don't have to pay health insurance premiums and copays and deductibles.

I'm a Canadian who lived in the US for 5 years (2001-2006) and I can tell you that once you included our monthly payments on our health plan and our municipal taxes we paid more living in the US than we do now, living back in Ontario. I really don't understand why people think our Canadian taxes are so much higher...and we get so much more out of them - health coverage that works even if its not perfect, university tuition is so much lower, etc.

By the way, if republicans win the presidency, I suggest Canada beef up it's own armed forces. From what I hear, our slimy government is already trying to take control of some of your waters.

(which failed to win a majority) is something like what you might call the extreme left wing of the Democratic party there.
We have universal health care, and it's mandatory. In my province, it costs me 60 big ones a month, and it includes all medical appointments, including visits to the Dr. That's $60 Canadian, or about $54 US. Yeh, you might say our currency is like the peso. But then it's somewhat tied to yours. We are not experiencing the financial meltdown in quite the same way. We have a more regulated banking and mortgage industry, see. We call our dollar the "Loonie" and it's a coin with a loon engraved on the back. We even have a $2 coinn called the "Toonie". But watch our loonies and toonies. By the time Obama wins, you just might be taking a hit on your bags of US dollars.
