Buried in today's New York Daily News is a gem of a quote from Stephen Baldwin:

Stephen Baldwin, who has threatened to move to Canada if Barack Obama is elected, has now challenged the candidate to box for charity. "I'd like to knock some good sense into Barack," Alec's right-wing bro said at the Printing House Gym in the Village. "I wouldn't hurt him. But if he wins the election, he'll hurt me. He's a cultural terrorist." This from the man who enriched us all with "Sex Monster" and "Snakeman."

Let me tell you all about this so-called Christian family man/reformed drug addict. Not so long ago, I was in line at Duane Reade pretty late at night. He and some other guy ran into the store, obviously high as kites, demanding that the clerk "give [them] all the condoms you have in this place because [they had] chicks in the car." If he wants a more conservative society, let him live in the mountains of northwestern Pakistan. I'll buy him a ticket.

As for threatening to move to the country that has socialised medicine and which opposes our invasion of Iraq and our torturing of prisoners, Canada, doesn't he realise that he is in effect endorsing the policies of the Democratic Party by saying such a thing?
