Now we know....McCain is an a*ss man.
Cindy is going to have to buy one soon, this is getting out of hand.
It's an unlucky shot for the old chap, catching him in an "Oh, sh*t" moment that probably would have gone unnoticed.
Having said that, I hope it gets lots of exposure and torpedoes what little chance he has left.
During the debate, he scowled, frowned and smirked at points of disagreement. These behaviors are juvenile and speak volumes about the man. The country desperately needs mature individuals in leadership positions. We have seen what the knee-jerk, tough guy, neo-con boys can do, and we have seen and heard enough to know that McC is a petulant, impetuous, and vengeful individual. If McCain/Palin get the nod, nothing more need be said about this country. We are finished.
Relax, Obama has it in the bag. McCain knows it. The Gutter Operations Party knows it. Everyone knows it. It's just a matter of 17 days.
A lot can happen in 17 days. Buildings fall in hours. I understand what you're saying, Steph, but I would not encourage complacency.
This is not in the bag. And if you believe that you've been living in a cave.
The news is filled with the Acorn crap which we all know is a load of smoke.
No one is addressing the illegal purging being done by republican election officials in the swing states. 10's of thousands removed illegally from the rolls in the last month.
How is that in the bag? Want ot bet on who they've purged? People with names or addresses that identfity them as being black or latino. The hope being that they can be forced to file a provisional ballot that will never be counted. "Duh...we don't know where they went:." Or that they'll get fed up and leave before voting.
This is not to be assumed.
There is work to do otherwise we'll be looking at this idiot and one of the worst political picks for the next 4 years.
You can rest on November 5th. Until then, we need to get to work.
Vote early.
Vote early.
Vote early.
Now that you mention it, I wonder if he's been tested for Tourette's. Could be.
Again with the tongue! ICK!!!
Okay, and another thing that I found strange about the debate that no one seems to be talking about is John McCain on Palin: She knows a lot about Special Needs kids. She is an expert on autism.
Autism? Really? He mentioned her and the autism thing a couple of times. Since when does she know anything about autism? Her child has Down Syndrome. Does McCain not get that? I guess according to this logic having a special needs child makes you an expert on all spectrum of special needs, but especially autism.
To people who don't understand the point of this photo:
You ought to know that photographers are *always* in search of those moments when people let their guard down, and this is a classic. It's not anyone else's fault the strange things McCain has inside him.
Jon Stewart made the Gollum connection too:
http://crooksandliars.com/nicole-belle/daily-show-mccain-gollum
"It's an unfair joke, because Gollum is an old man corrupted by his quest for ultimate power and... oh."
He looks like a deranged hobgoblin.
Caption:
John McCain, while experiencing one of his 'senior moments', accidentally mistakes Barack Obama for his running mate Sarah Palin.
And the point being?
To make him look horrendous...
Why do people bother with this childishness?
I still remember you made a comment on HuffPo about how big O's ears and Michelle's teeth are.
I think an interesting point to all this is the effect of the Howard Dean yelp. Could this essentially be the point at which people look at this (as it is everywhere), and think "what the..."

Yes, this might be the McCain equivalent of the Howard Dean yelp. (Though there have been several examples lately: "My fellow prisoners!" -- Like, was that a senior moment or a PTSD moment?)
Look at how dignified and, yes, presidential, candidate Obama looks compared with McCain -- who, in loser fashion, appropriately walks behind his competitor with his tongue hanging out.
It isn't childish to notice a very public person, running for President of the United States of America, do such odd things in front of the entire world.
What kind of persona will he be presenting to world leaders. The man is inept. I don't understand how he has survived in the Senate for so many years. I think it is true that he has ridden on his POW status and maybe people have just come to think of him as an oddball who just keeps getting re-elected. Amazing that he is sitting on a stage actually attempting to get elected President of the United States of America and he rolls his eyes and then sticks out his tongue on the stage with the entire world watching.
he is possessed.
Does he look like Gollum to anyone beside me or is my sense of humor just twisted.
I can hear McCcain whisper to Obama as he walk behind him "give me The Precious."
your not the only one.

Someone else here mentioned this, and it's true: M c C a i n is more like Cotton Hill from King of the Hill, than Grandpa Simpson.
Yeah, I know Abe Simpson and you, John McCain, are no Abe Simpson.
