The Atlantic:

Republican sources in Colorado and Washington say that the National Republican Senatorial Committee plans to pull out of the state by next week, an acknowledgment that its independent expenditure resources would be better spent on defense elsewhere.

Earlier this week, the NRSC withdrew its advertising from the Louisiana Senate race.

Any Coloradans who don't need to donate to their Senate race - please consider throwing some cash to Rick Noriega Dem candidate for Senate and ex Iraqi vet, only 6 points behind Sen John Cornyn, a close friend and mimic of GWB. It would be so great to see Texas turn. ....

And anybody else out there - GWB remade Texas in his image... lets change it back - give for Molly Ivins!

I saw an article the other day indicating that the Louisiana Republicans and McCain might get a nasty surprise on election day. Right now, McCain appears to be comfortably ahead there, but the fact that Landrieu is going to win handily tells yu that not only does McCain have no coattails like Obama does, but that it could signal weakening of his own status among Louisiana voters.

Sununu is a goner. They are wasting money there just as McCain is wasting his time in Pennsylvania. They should let Coleman go because the guy is just a flat embarrassment to their party.

So how much money has the RNC wasted this year on races that they ended up in retreat?? Republicans meet the wilderness, you're new home for the next 4-8 years.

Finally the RNC and the GOP are taking a dive that main street has endured for awhile now. I sure do hope main street will recover but I cannot say as much for the RNC and the GOP. I hope all of these GOP'er type people visit their revelation.

On the flip side 99 percent of this population is struggling with what is next and will they eat and or have enough to heat their homes. While this government bails out the .00000001 percent that do not have such considerations or concerns. We have seen an oligarchy at its very best. Hopefully the slaves of this state will wise up.

It's going to be a pretty exciting Senate next year. If the election were held today, the GOP would only have 41 seats in the Senate, and that's assuming Saxby Chambliss and Roger Wicker win and both of their current leads are approaching the polls' margin of error. A bad day on Nov 4th for the GOP means those two seats are gone also as well as possibly Mitch McConnell, Susan Collins, and even John Cornyn. If the current trends continue the GOP is going to have a very bad day on Nov 4th. If Obama runs away with the lead it may mean that a lot of Republicans stay home and we could see the GOP with only 36 seats next year and the GOP may go the way of the Whigs.

This is one instance in which the republicans are making a smart decision.

Colorado has early voting and nearly and more than 60% of the people there vote early or by mail in ballot.

This does not mean that the republicans and McCain and 527s will not be allocationg resources to the presidential campaign in Colorado. So don't get too excited.

There is work to be done. DO NOT GET OVER CONFIDENT!

Also the republicans control the majority of the county clerk and recorder offices in most of these swing states and there are those worrisome DieBold voting machines as well as the ultimate fear tactic a terrorist attac or a high code alert or a message from al Qaueda. So get out and vote and do not take an Obama/Biden win for granted.
