I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Sarah Palin

Wall Street Journal:

"Sometimes the leak is so bad that even a plumber can't fix it." This was the concise summation of a cable political strategist the other day, after the third and final presidential debate. That sounds about right, and yet the race in its final days retains a feeling of dynamism. I think it is going to burst open or tighten, not just mosey along. I can well imagine hearing, the day after Election Day, a lot of "You won't believe it but I was literally in line at the polling station when I decided."

John McCain won the debate, and he did it by making the case more effectively than he has in the past that Barack Obama will raise taxes, when "now, of all times in America, we need to cut people's taxes." He also scored Mr. Obama on his eloquence, using it against him more effectively than Hillary Clinton ever did. When she said he was "just words," it sounded like a bitter complaint. Mr. McCain made it a charge: Young man, you attempt to obscure truth with the mellifluous power of your words. From Mrs. Clinton it sounded jealous, but when Mr. McCain said it, you looked at Mr. Obama and wondered if you'd just heard something that was true. For the first time, Mr. Obama's unruffled demeanor didn't really work for him. His cool made him seem hidden.

"She doesn't seem to understand the implications of her own thoughts."

P girl. let's elaborate. She doesn't know anything, and she doesn't know that she doesn't know anything. Scary huh?

I love it when they start out praising Mac before they jump ship. If you read between the lines, Noonan is pretty much saying, she no longer endorses Mac, but she still will not vote for O. Here's the silver lining, anyone repug, who stays home on election day is a vote for O.....Yeah Baby!

"She doesn't seem to understand the implications of her own thoughts"

Which is what makes her dangerous and why she shouldn't be VP. And why McCain shouldn't be elected.
You should question why did McCain pick her. What is McCain up to? What direction does he have America heading toward?

If you want to hold onto your Republican Party, then you better start realizing that this time around it may not be good voting McCain.
I don't really care if there is a republican party. I just want democracy.

Everybody know Palin not qualified to run the white house if you listen to the way she talk. she need to back to high school and take speech class. McCain pick someone with no leadership to be vice-or president. Last night letterman ask McCain if he get sick can she step in? He didn't answer the question letterman ask hom three times.American think the same thing she not qualified to be a leader.

Oh well...

I thought Noonan might have something to say but I found this weird and very out of somewhere I don't think I want to go.... I don't know if she had a point or was just writing to have her name on something. The title drew me in but the rest is not something I find worthy of more than this zzzzzzzzzz

Noonan's style is to wander all over the idealogical map and pretend as if she knows something when, in fact, she is nothing more than a shill for the hard-right faction of the G.O.P. (95% of the party). She's in a state of depression, because she sees that the house of cards built by the man for whom she always has lusted (Ronnie Ray-gun) is about to fall. Tough noogies, Peggy!

Boy, that was a terrible piece of meadering crap...

Its the first thing I have ever read by her and will likely be the last.

I have heard her talk and her writing is similar. She has no core values and her writing sucks. She talks in circles and writes with the same direction..

What's with all the "McCain won the debate" crapola? Yes, he argued more forcefully than he did in the previous two debates, but he also exceeded the eye roll limit, the fidget limit, the steam-is-coming-out-the-ears limit, the pop-a-vein limit, the blink rate, and the teeth-grinding fist-clenching limit. He showed himself to be of dreadful temperment, barely able to contain his anger. He was the least presidential I've ever seen him. But back to the "won the debate." What exactly did he do to win it? At what point did he so completely refute Obama's statements that he was the winner? What was his "knock-out punch?" The "I'm not George Bush" line? That was comedy, not winning debate technique. No one has been able to explain to me what he did that makes him the winner, so I give up.

Most people dont understand that Obama cant attack McCain too hard... It would come across as a Blackman attacking an old gray haired white man who was a POW.

Part of Mccains frustration is that he has never been able to force Obama to take that bait and come acorss as an angry black man who hates whites.. The Rev Wright thing!

Its a debating disadvantage that he has had to live with...

Its just like Bidden not being able to come down hard on Palin.

I still remember seeing Noonan on TV fawning all over P alin immediately after the V P debate. Noonan acted like she was going to need smelling salts...she was that blown away by P alin's performance. Needless to say, I no longer pay too much attention to anything Noonan has to say.

I can't believe they pay people people to write this. I found it pretty much incoherent.

What does Peggy Noonan stand for? Yuck.
