Tina Fey On Palin Impression: "She Has A Really Crazy Voice" (VIDEO)

Tina Fey joins David Letterman tonight, Friday, and a chunk of the interview is online with Fey talking about her impression of Sarah Palin, especially her voice:

She has a really crazy voice... Not since "Sling Blade" had there been a voice that anyone can do... [it's] a beautiful Alaskan windsong... It's a little bit "Fargo," a little bit Reese Witherspoon in "Election"... Seth Meyers puts a lot of Rs in, she really loves her Rs.

She also explains why it is not sexist and calls Palin a tough lady, "She kills things!"

Tina Fey is a beautiful, smart and funny woman.

The great thing about the Fey/Palin skits, is how easy they were to write. No matter if you think Palin is or is not qualified to be president, you have to admit that taking the exact words and lines Palin used in her speeches and interviews and have Fey repeat the them almost verbatim on SNL was not only easy, but smart script writing.

I just don't see how any supporter of Palin can argue with SNL about taking something out of context. If you do feel that it was, then watch the skits and the actual interviews side-by-side.

Really Nice piece of work. You can hear that while Tina Fey is still in Palin mode, it affects her normal speaking voice as well. She is brave to have plumbed the depths of idiocy, and we can only bring her back to the light when this is all done. Now that's a smart woman! Which is way hotter than Sarah Palin and her rifle!

I saw the SNL skit with the real Sarah Palin. It was awkward.

Now a FANTASTIC idea!!! SNL should spoof themselves and the Palin's visit.
I saw how much more feminine and attractive Tina was comparing to Palin.

SNL should spoof itself, Tina should play herself playing Palin, and Palin should be played by a man with big jawbone and small forehead.

God knows we have to find a way to laugh through this, so as to not be completely depressed at the reality that there could actuall BE a VP candidate like this. It is absolutely beyond comprehension.

I just watched Palin on TV, truely amazing. I have the perfect SNL skit. Picture this:

Tine Fey (portraying Palin) parades across the stage with her trophey, her flute, and her newborn.

It is disgusting that she actually was carrying that poor little newborn like a bouquet of roses as she appeared on the stage where she was giving her speech this afternoon. The only good thing about that appearance was she was perfect fodder for the next SNL skit!!
