Read it and you are right! The article said just what many of us feared SNL copped out!

I think SNL demolished Palin's career. SNL gave them enough rope...Then just let it happen.

Palin is a joke, so she fits well within the SNL team and she didn't even mind or notice?? that they were making fun of her! Next time she should think twice before trying to fill in a position that is way out her league such as the VP! Alaskans have also come to realize what a big mistake they made and well the rest is history!

If Palin were running for SNL host, I'd vote for her!

But, she isn't, and I won't.

Thanks for being a good sport Governor Palin.

The only difference between Tina Fey and Shara Palin is Palin has big headlights or spice rack.

Except that Tina Fey has dignity and a brain.

Wow, the Republicans are out in force! Make sure you vote.

She'll do SNL but not consistent interviews with major news outlets? Joe the Plum has done more interviews than her by now. As the rap demonstrated, she's a big cluster of reactionary weirdness.

Alaska's over a million square miles of big open beautiful nothingness. She's really come to reflect a world within a world in a way. A big un-self-conscious nothing staring back.

"I just hope next time there's a serious female candidate, we can get beyond the sexism and look at content of character."

Perhaps the next time the Republican party has an opportunity to run a woman for President or VP they will choose someone who is who is worthy of respect. Olympia Snowe, perhaps?

Nah, on second thought they'll probably go with Michele Bachman...gotta keep the fundies happy...

I've read a lot of posts about how gutsy it was of Sarah Palin to go on a comedy show that
has parodied her and where she knew she would most likely be the butt of some pretty harsh comedy skits. I would argue that she may have demonstrated moxie or hubris, but I don't think it takes as much of those qualities as it does the courage it would have taken for her to go on "Meet the Press" or "Hardball" or even the more user friendly "Larry King." These are shows where she would have had to appear without the benefit of a script or an agreed upon set of game rule, like the debate.

You can show all of the clips you would like about Joe Biden and his seemingly unlimited ability to 'put his foot in it'. I would argue that he has at least gone on these shows where you must answer critical thinking questions. Why has Sarah Palin 'run scared' after only a couple of legitimate new interviews? If she is SO courageous, what is the problem? I know in asking this I'm going to get the old, "the MSM is against her" argument. Can anyone come up with something besides that or the "She's doing just fine talking directly to the people at the rallies," line?

Why are there no recent articles on Huffington post about Joe Biden? What are they trying to hide?

Patriotvet is right, maybe they're hiding the fact that he's a draft dodging liberal?

Biden got student deferments, just like millions of other young men during that time. You may not be old enough to remember, but the Viet Nam war was incredibly unpopular while it was happening. There were demonstrations and riots, and president Johnson refused to run for president in 68, all because of the tremendous unpopularity of the war. 60,000 American GIs dead or missing, 1,100,000 Vietnamese, almost all civilians, slaughtered. All for no reason that really made sense to most Americans at the time.

Barack Obama has released a new video, encouraging Americans to help his campaign fund an unprecidented expansion of the campaign into additional states. His campaign must decide by Friday whether they can afford to expand the campaign, and increase their get-out-the-vote efforts into additional states.

Watch Barack Obama's new video message here:

If we want a *REAL* fifty-state strategy for longterm progressive change, we need to fund it, so that we can get voters to register, and get them to the polls.

Let's dig deep and help turn red states into purple states, and victory into a clear national majority!

Sarah Palin's SNL appearance shows she could work in television. In the words of Governor Richardson, and perhaps others, she IS telegenic. That's probably the best quality she has going for her. I cannot imagine her in the role of Vice President of the United States. Ever. But as a talk show host of a certain calibre, she has possibilities.
