LOS ANGELES — Travis Barker is out of a Los Angeles burn center where he was being treated after surviving a plane crash.

The former Blink-182 drummer was released Friday from the Grossman Burn Center. He had been there since Sept. 29 with second- and third-degree burns.

The burn center says the 32-year-old rocker will continue being treated at home and is expected to fully recover over the next few months.

Barker was initially treated in Georgia after the Sept. 19 crash in South Carolina. Disc jockey Adam Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, also survived.

Two pilots and two other passengers died.

Burns on the face or hands must be the worst.

We have all had burns a few centimeters or millimeters across. I cannot imagine suffering from large burns. It boggles my mind. The pain and disability that some go through. I'm glad these guys will recover with only some scars, but still.....

Ooowww.

That he came out alive at all is a miracle. Things like that change a person, more than the injuries, which heal. You appreicate the best parts of life and see the rest f it as fluff and dander. Scars heal over time, become roadmaps of our past. Travis, you got a wake up call my friend. Pay attention and don't take life for granted. Enjoy your kids, take time to smell the roses, enjoy the company of those around you. If God gives you a second chance with your wife, take it. Hang in there, it gets better.

So god chose to give Travis a second chance? What about the other passengers? They also had family that loved them. It was pure LUCK! Not gods will.....

Jesus didn't like those other people, it seems.
