RightWingWatch:

It's bad enough that the employees of ACORN have had to endure days of baseless and outlandish attacks by John McCain and the RNC. But after McCain outrageously claimed before a national audience on Wednesday night that ACORN was "maybe perpetrating one of the greatest frauds in voter history in this country, maybe destroying the fabric of democracy," the group came under attack, literally. In the following days, ACORN's Boston and Seattle offices were vandalized and at least one employee received a death threat.

And for nearly two weeks, ACORN offices across the nation have been subjected to an onslaught of racist and threatening voicemails and emails. We have secured copies of some of the most disturbing and offensive messages and have reproduced them below in order to show the very real consequences of the Right Wing's overheated and misplaced "voter fraud" rhetoric.

This is the very reason that republicans got mad at Michelle when she said that people were mean. She was right. This is the real deal coming out. There are also some Youtubes out there showing people in some part of Ohio, going to a Palin rally, a guy with a monkey in his hand with an Obama hat on, making all kinds of outragious statements about Obama, as it relates to race. I saw this around 3 this morning when I got up because I could not sleep. The thing that struck me is that these adults were saying all of this racist stuff about blacks in front of their young kids and grandkids. How sad. This whole video showed me just how ignorant people are and that these are exactly the people that the republican party and the fox news propaganda station are targeting. Low information voters. People who vote against their own self interest. I hope that McCAin/Palin can live with themselves after stirring up this type of hatred. As a country, we need to send a message to the republican party that we will not tolerate this type of behavior. They need to be voted out of office. A statement needs to be made.

Johns Lewis was right in his analogies. Will it take someone being hurt or killed to stop the McCain/Palin Hate Express? Where are their Christian values?

Put your insightful energy into action and find ways to insure that the change you believe in comes to fruition!!! You are making a difference, whether you realize it or not!
Every time you take a stand for the truth.
Every time you stand up for ethics in government.
Every time you hold McCain accountable for the egregiously dishonest, and reprehensible inferences his campaign has made about a good man, a very honorable man, a dedicated, intelligent, thoughtful, steady leader who points to a vision for America that is referenced through language that references the perfection of our union, that can only be achieved through a perfection of our humanity.

SOME states have Hate Crime Acts. It depends on what states these offices are in, but ACORN needs to rigorously pursue these phony-baloney patriots and race baiters in FEDERAL COURT. We'd stand a better chance if there was a FEDERAL Hate Crimes Act, but it was vetoed by You-Know-Who. You know the one McCain isn't like? Duplicate the emails-rerecord the messages and then send the whole package to FBI c/o DOJ. Unfortunately, I wouldn't hold my breath about the FBI jumping up and running out to investigate these charges of racism and hatred, because the FBI is CURRENTLY working for the other side and investigating Voter Registration Fraud. I am calling on the Federal Elections Commission to INVESTIGATE THESE CALLS NOW!! NOW means BEFORE the ELECTION. It is ONLY going to get worse up until Nov. 4.

Well said. And in fact, if any correlations are linked to what McCain and Palin are inciting.....
well, I believe there may be laws for holding them accountable.

Those government agents ( FBI) get their orders from their commanders.
They investigate what they are ordered to investigate, and they act dutifully in service to their government. They are not the bad guys. They are just doing their job.

However, the atty. general of course has a role to play in maintaining order and the upholding of laws...insuring a sense of ORDER, and INTEGRITY to the system of CHECKS AND BALANCE in the PURSUIT OF JUSTICE.

What I wonder is: WHO is giving the orders to push the notion that ACORN is the source of the problem, when in fact, it was ACORN who brought the problem to the attention of election officials?...and this can be well documented. True, the problem of fake-registrations has been going on, but this seems elementary as an issue for the FBI to investigate, as there are clearly other factors to consider that point to very responsible conduct by ACORN.
So why push the notion that the SOURCE of the issue is ACORN?

Hmmmm.... this occurring - even as Sen. McCain makes perverted insinuations to intimate that these fake registrations are somehow linked to Sen. Obama. ( Another egregiously false allegation being made by McCain with absolutely no standard for ethics or the truth.)

Where is the integrity to truth, to ethics, to justice in our government leadership?

I know a fellow who is a retired Secret Service guy. I had the misfortune to take a class from him entitled "How to be a P.I.". He is a blatant racist, and said with great pride, that MOST of the S.S. guys are the same. In addition, they are rightwing, neocon, nutjobs, and they hate liberals and Dems. in general. That is why, when they were put in charge of Obama's safety, I got sick to my stomach. They would be just as likely to harm him as anyone they are supposed to be guarding him against.

In conjunction with all of this "push" to vilify ACORN as involved in voter fraud, that is being intimated by McCain, is the strange occurrence of all those Federal attorneys being suddenly fired, after being approached by government officials from various branches of service, who pressured the attorneys to investigate FALSE claims of voter fraud, and this took place, interestingly - 2 YEARS AGO. And all those attorneys who refused to engage in this proposal of inappropriate corruption of their duties, - they were ALL FIRED.

Gosh.
What else happened two years ago...and well, golly gee, and my gosh darn...was all of this "in the oven" to insure a continuation of fraudulent conduct to literally create political ploys to contaminate the OUTCOME of elections...and even... say....this presidential election?

Golly gee, and gosh darn.

I'm ashamed to think that I ever was a Republican. What they're doing this year is evil. There's no other word for it.

I genuinely hope that there will be an investigation regarding these email/voicemails . . . examples need to be made . . . . these types of threats and scare tactics should not be tolerated in a just and civilized democracy.

Cindy McCain stated she is proud to be an American, is this what makes her so proud, or is it what Michelle Obama stated, for the first time in American I can be proud, but there are still some mean people. Who understands America, and represent unity in the US to the World? Michelle or Cindy.

Well, at this moment in history I am less proud of some of America then I ever was.

This election has sure brought out those racists that say they are not, but have hidden in the closet for many years.

It makes me want to vomit every time I hear them say they are proud Americans and then say the crap they say.

My take: Republicans sign on to work at ACORN, get paid by Republicans and ACORN to falsify voter registrations, then blame the Dems for fraud in an attempt to invalidate poor, Black voters.

Classic Republican politics in action.

Look! The choice is simple! One man calls for America to unite. The other? For it to divide.

These hostilities are directly related to the hostile dangerous tones coming from McCain and Palin, and their surrogates, through their reprehensible campaign robo-calls, and vulgar slanderous allegations.

Thus we see in the public sector, a clear reflection of what was planted from the mouths of Palin and McCain, Bachmann, and others whose lack of insight, lack of wisdom, promotion of ignorance with conduct that reflects flawed standards of ethics and integrity - which becomes as terrifying, harrowing and destructive as the violence itself.
