Family Guy: Nazis Back McCain-Palin (VIDEO)

The popular TV show "Family Guy" took a shot at the McCain-Palin ticket tonight. In one scene three Nazis are walking down the street when they are accosted by Stewie and have their uniforms stolen. Stewie notices a campaign button on his new jacket, and a closeup reveals it's a McCain-Palin button.

I have a question - why is that the McCain camp is so powerful that they are allowed to have videos removed from the websites? I don't watch Family Guy, but the 'tickler' for it is on several newssites - when I try to view it, it says it is no longer available. Same is true with the sick obsessed husband character that McCain played on SNL a few years ago. What's up with this? Who has the right to remove these things?

I'd like to point out that the NSDAP believed that:

(1) some races were inferior to others
(2) some religions were inferior to others
(3) anyone who disagreed with them was not a good citizen
(4) that liberals and their fellow travelers had caused the country to lose a great war

I defy anyone out there to find even the smallest similarity to the Republican Party.

I totally agree with you about your point that the comparison is ridiculous (if you're not ridiculing...). Yet, when I look at your third issue, I must admit that I'm deeply concerned about all the 'anti-American' propaganda. This tactics sounds very much intimidating to me - and that's were the two ideologies meet. If you start dividing your own people, beware of beginnings...

Sorry I missed this episode! While they might not BE Nazis, the Right USE Nazi propaganda tactics and are very adept at it, particularly since the days of Lee Atwater (who might have just operated on the same instinct, as opposed to actually reading the Nazi "playbook." I've posted before the links to Joseph Goebbels speeches and principles of propaganda. And also urged everyone to see the current documentary Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story. McPalin handlers (Atwater's disciple Rove and his Rovian rogues) are brilliant at deploying Nazi techniques to "brainwash" the masses to achieve their quest for power. Right on, Stewie!
