Palin: I'm A "Mama Grizzly Bear" When It Comes To My Kids

Just call her Mama Bear.

Gov. Sarah Palin said Sunday that the hardest part about public life as the Republican vice-presidential nominee was the news media coverage of her children. That, Ms. Palin said, brought out the grizzly bear in her.

"The toughest thing has been the shots taken against the kids, against the family," said Ms. Palin, according to a partial transcript of an interview with WWOR, a television station that serves New York City. "They're my kids. The mama grizzly bear in me comes out, makes me want to rear up on my hind legs and say, 'Wait a minute.'

This is the second time she has said this and I want her to cite where somebody is taking shots at her kids. She makes these statements to try to get sympathy and gives no specifics. As for being a grizzly bear about your kids, I would say not. A grizzly mamma bear would protect her cubs by keeping them off the national stage. Since you dragged them out, then you need to expect somebody will say something about them. Maybe, Sarah, the people talking about your kids were wondering why you are such a disgraceful mother. Maybe they were wondering why you dragged your 8 year old daughter onto the ice at the hockey game to protect yourself from being booed. Maybe they are wondering why you drag you infant son around with you as a prop.

Oh here we go again. Yesterday Joe the plumber was crying around about the media and today here is Palin trying to get sympathy when she brought this on herself and worse on her own kids. She continually puts her children in the spotlight and uses them as props for photo ops and her campaign. More GOP hypocrisy! You can't have it both ways lady (and I use that term loosely here).

Besides that, I have not seen anyone attacking her children. Comedians and others have made fun of the teenage pregnancy, the shotgun wedding, and the odd names she has burdened them with, but they'd be doing that if it was Obama, or Bush, or anyone else too. Simmer down "mama bear."

Even grizzly bears are more nurturing to their babies and handle them with care. Unlike this pitbull/grizzly bear who handles her little guy like he's a rag doll.

No one said anything about her kids. She's the one that parades around at rallies using her down's syndrome baby as a political prop. She's the one that placed her pregnant daughter and boyfriend onstage.
