Faith Hill In A Bikini At 41

"Wearing a bikini on a magazine cover is my 41st birthday present to myself," country superstar and mother-of-three Faith Hill tells December's Shape, out Nov. 10, about returning to her three-times-a-week Pilates routine recently. When she first took up the exercise regimen, she explains, "I could bend in ways I haven't been able to since I was a teenager." She then adds, "My husband (Tim McGraw) loves it!

"I was always very athletic, playing basketball and softball and running track. But in my 20s and 30s, I'd go through phases with exercise, working out for four weeks before a big tour or video shoot and not doing much afterward. Then I had three kids and turned 40, so I decided to make a lifestyle change."

My 16-year-old, 5' 11" 130 lb daughter doesn't look this slender and toned. You can see the PhotoShop touch up work on this photo. But, hey, more power to Faith. Even with airbrushing, I'd not put on a bikini and step out on the cover of Shape.

I attended a media dinner last August, and Faith Hill isn't any bigger than this picture. I'm sure there's airbrushing, but for scars, maybe stretchmarks, not fat.

Meh. I see women who are older and in better shape all the time.
Hint: I'm a member of a gym and a running club.
Anybody can be in that kind of shape. All it takes is the right nutrition and working out a couple hours per week.

I don't see her ribs and neither do you. I used to buy into that "curves" and "big girls are beautiful" mentality, and tell you what. All it did was give me high blood pressure and a cholesterol issue. And anyone you see carrying extra weight likely will face the same fate. I'm still not "skinny" but I did manage to drop about 30lbs and am much healthier.

I dont get it. I dont think 41 is that old to still have a great body. Unless you are someone who lets yourself go really early you can have a nice body for a very long time. Ask Madonna, Demi Moore, and many many other celebrities who work out for a living.
