CNN:

A growing number of Americans believe John McCain has attacked Barack Obama unfairly, a negative perception of the Arizona senator that could cost him at the polls come Election Day.

According to a new survey from CNN and the Opinion Research Corporation, nearly 6 in 10 Americans believe the Republican nominee has unfairly gone negative in his bid for the White House. That percentage is significantly higher than it was last September, when just 42 percent thought the Republican Presidential nominee was running an overly negative campaign, and is also considerably higher than the percentage of Americans who feel Obama has gone unfairly negative.

One problem McCain has is that he does not define his terms. What does he mean by friend when he talks about Ayers? What is his definition of socialist? He doesn't seem to understand the Obama tax policy at all. Obama clearly says that 95% of WORKING FAMILIES will get a tax break and yet McCain/Palin keep saying the 40% of the people do not pay taxes and sneer about it. What is it they don't understand about working families.

I've always known that I would be voting for Senator Obama because I'm originally from Chicago and I voted for him in Illinois. But if there had been a question mark in my mind, the repulsive and slime filled campaign of John McCain left no doubt that America does not need that kind of President. We have just returned to Florida yesterday and will be casting our early vote this week for Barack Obama. I'm so excited I can hardly wait. Oh and we came back from Massachusetts and Obama signs are everywhere!.

Senator McCain,
You are no longer the Senator McCain we all know...
especially after nominating Palin.
We realize that you are a former military...
Please... today is 2008... if your nomination by recommendation of your staff(s) was wrong...
America still loves you ONLY if can tell us that...
Senator, with all respect... Governor Palin definitely was not only a wrong choice...
But told us... that she is the President candidate and NOT you to go head to head difference with you.
With all respects, Munki

McCain couldn't care less about being fair or honest, this is all a game for him.
It is easy to see by the way he is running his campaign, Country is not First,
I have no respect or well wishes for this pitiful shell of a man.

A PLEA TO MY FELLOW READERS,

Again this evening on both MSNBC (Hardball) & CNN (Campell Brown) we had to endure another daily dose of William Ayers "unchallenged" and NOT COUNTERED with "I'll see your Ayers and raise you a Liddy".

On Hardball it was a brief comment or two in passing... but there it was planted yet again in the minds of potential Obama supporters (and just when you thought being a "Socialist" was enough)! Soon after on "No Bias, No Bull", an interview with none other than "Devil Spawn Barbie", who once again brings up the Ayers connection as "fair game"!!! Why then, will NO ONE ask if her OWN CONNECTIONS to the VERY ANTI-AMERICAN AIP are "FAIR GAME"... Why McCain's "connections" to LIDDY (for God's sake the man plotted MURDERS, BOMBINGS, AND KIDNAPPINGS) are also "FAIR GAME!!! No Bias No Bull??? Apparently NO TRUTH either if it's about McCain!!!

It is very apparent, that McPalin's own dubious associations are OFF LIMITS to the MSM... I guess being MARRIED to a member of a militaristic, America-hating, secessionist group is not a "close enough" association?!!

PLEASE JOIN ME IN A LETTER CAMPAIGN TO ALL THE MAJOR NEWS OUTLETS TO VOICE OUR COLLECTIVE OUTRAGE!!! The so called "liberal media" has been a complicit partner to the McCain campaign's relentless "attack" of Obama's character and very "Patriotism"!!! This is an assault on ALL American's "right" to a FREE and FAIR DEMOCRATIC ELECTION!!!

Before it is TOO LATE...

I'm based in the UK, and I've read more about AIP here, than I find on any of the US MSM.
It seems only MSNBC, would talk about it .. forget CBS, ABC, FOX, CNN and others.

Besides being negative and untrue -- the most appalling aspect is that McCain's attacks are divisive and do not serve the country.. Country first, indeed.

This is actually a very serious matter. The McCain supporters have become physically violent. It would be good to have an article cataloguing all of the violence.... the dead bear, the woman punched in the face for canvasing... I don't think that these are isolated events.

What are the legal limits to the campaigns? If I incite violence, I get put into jail. How can a campaign get away with it? The McCain campaign needs to be stopped before they cause a divide in the nation and before someone gets seriously hurt or even killed.

Dead bear??? I didn't know about the dead bear? Was this on Huff?

As for legal limits... I have been wondering the same thing (as I'm sure many of us are)... How on earth can the campaign itself be getting away with outright calls to violence (as in the "waterboard Obama" ad)? And inciting the violence that is now occuring with racial slurs etc.??? Was that man who hung Obama in Effigy ever arrested...Why do I think NOT?

Where is the "press", where is the Secret Service, WHERE is the CONGRESS??? Shouldn't McCain be IMPEACHED or at the very least censured for all of this???

McCain learned this behavior from the master - George Bush. His negative campaining earned him 8 years in the White House. America is standing up and not falling for it this time around. It shows the strength of Obama's character that he has been able to succeed in spite of all the slings and arrows.

So when he cracks open the Rev. Wright attacks just like his head Ghoul/Campaign Mgr, Rick Davis says he's planning to.... what will the net effect be? He will invariably wait until Obama is out of town, visiting his very sick grandma, it's so much easier to stick a knife in someone's back when he's not only not looking but suffering a family member's grave illness..... yeah, that sounds like something low enough for them to try....

John McCain will not be remembered for loosing an election. He will be remembered for loosing his good name. Sadly, it was he that dicarded it so cheaply.

Well, with the dishonorable way he's been running his campaign, if I were that relative I would sincerely hope he kept his misery to himself. I would NOT want to be associated with all that negativity, would you?

Mac ruined 40 years of service and reputation with just one sleazy campaign. Instead of swift boat - now we use the term McCained.
