Murdered Bear Cub Dumped On Campus With Obama Signs

Asheville Citizen-Times:

CULLOWHEE - A dead bear was found dumped this morning on the Western Carolina University campus, draped with a pair of Obama campaign signs, university police said.

Maintenance workers reported about 7:45 a.m. finding a 75-pound bear cub dumped at the roundabout near the Catamount statute at the entrance to campus, said Tom Johnson, chief of university police.

I'm 60 years old. I have been following national politics since I was fortunate enough to meet and shake hands with John Kennedy when I was a young man. At the time I was a Nixon supporter. I remember going to bed with Nixon as President elect and awakening in the morning to President elect Kennedy. I've watched all the campaigns since. Johnson's use of fear of nuclear holocaust (The Daisy Ad) against Goldwater. Nixon's "southern strategy" that depended on subtly stoking racial division. George Wallace's run. Reagan's divisive run emphasizing "welfare queens". George H. W. Bush and Willie Horton. The vile attacks and lies about Clinton. G.W.'s Rovian play book fomenting hate and divisive wedge issues based on god, guns and gays. All these campaigns descending lower and lower into gutter politics. I thought we had plumbed the very bottom until this year. The McCain/Palin/GOP campaign have taken us to subterranean depths of political filth and meanness and violence. What kind of nation have we become? What kind of people are we? I would never shake hands with McCain, I fear I'd be unable to ever wash off the slime.

He didn't protest about it until his negative ratings started to climb and he still sent the pit Bull Palin out with the message. Just day before yesterday he used it again in a interview so he didn't change his tune. He was just using that lady as a temporary video-op to act like he had some remorse.

Don't kid yourself. He didn't bring in the slime machine from the Rove Bush camp that swift boated him just to dump them. In fact he just picked up a new one the ran another slime campaign on someone else that fits right in the Rovian playbook.

My prayers are for Sen Obama and his sweet precious grandmother.
However while I have seen the intellectual and thoughtful cool side of Sen. Obama, I can also see the other side of Sen Obama. The side that is deep and full of resolve, I believe that a President Obama will be "tested" what ever that means. But I have watched this Man ..he is NOT to be taken lightly. Sen. Obama is NOT a pushover, in fact he is tough as nails. This country WILL be safe and a President Obama WILL not hesitate to STRIKE those that would harm this country.
As for CNN....well Jack Cafferty and David Gergen can be trusted .......that's about it CNN has been staging "news" and creating "news" I watched a "story developed in the span of an hour on CNN Anderson Cooper...about the ..gasp reintroduction of Rev. Wright.....there was no story ..he simply"talked it into the "news" for hours and hours....

People who have to prove they're patriots, as opposed to those of us who just live it, are the least patriotic of all. People who murder animals for the sake of making some bigoted point are not patriots and never will be. This is literally animal sacrifice and was done by someone who clearly doesn't know the difference between right and wrong. You know what they say, murderers always start out practicing on animals.
