Palin: We Haven't Heard Any Violent Attacks At Rallies

In a one-on-one interview with The Brody File, Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin says she has not personally heard vicious attacks directed at Barack Obama at her rallies. If she ever were to hear any, she says she would put an end to it. ...

Brody: Let me ask you a little bit about some of these rallies. I know that some, some people, John McCain have called them fringe out there who has said some things out there about Barack Obama at his rallies. Do you feel a responsibility when those are said to say enough of this type of talk?

Palin: Absolutely. But what we have heard through some mainstream media is that folks have hollered out some pretty atrocious and unacceptable things like "kill him" or some, we have not heard that. If I ever were to hear that standing up there at the podium with the mic, I would call 'em out on that, and I would tell these people, no, that's unacceptable, let's rise about that please. We haven't heard that. What I have heard though is even in the other camp though some negativity that has been injected in the campaign with the candidate himself, with Barack Obama telling his supporters to get out there and quote "get in their face, argue with them." That, you know, that's kind of inciting and a bit negative and John McCain and I will have nothing to do with that, but it is unacceptable if we were ever to hear the shout outs that are so negative that we have heard being reported, if I were to hear that I would say no, we don't stand for that.

They are deaf to violent talk in their rallies, just like they are deaf to more than 50% of the American people. They are also deaf to the findings of the Troopergate investigations, noted economists who comment on his crazy plan to buy up mortgages, those who point out the mistakes in their health care plans and anyone else who disagree with them.

When she starts rambling like this you know for sure that she is lying! I don't know what McCain or the GOP promised her to get her to put herself out there like this....she is beyond tarnished. Yes, it is paramount to get the White vote but she will also need African Americans, Hispanics, and Asians to win this election round and any future national election. Her role in this campaign has all but assured that she won't get many from either group. I am not sorry about that!

She didn't hear them? More than one video of these incidents has not only an audible comment, you can clearly see Palin's expression change to one of smug recognition immediately following.

Is her excuse that she was just smirking because she was pleased with the increase in crowd volume? Such an excuxse would not really be any less atrocious, because they only get louder in conjunction with getting angrier; and the spill-over of that leads to verbal and physical attacks on media and Obama supporters.

Clearly, SP thinks we are all MORONS. Surely, she heard her supporters yell, "kill him", "terrorist", etc. on news clips. It was her duty and responsibility to address those comments at her NEXT RALLY. She failed in that responsibility and duty. She is a dangerous woman. Why would there be violent attacks at her rallies. Duh! The object of the hate that she incites is NOT AT THE RALLY to attack.

Your a disgrace to my gender and to civilized human beings. Don't sit there and pretend that you haven't heard them. EVEN if you haven't heard them (doubtful) inside your rallies, you've heard them on tv people shouting inside and outside the rallies. It's YOUR responsibility to say that hateful rhetoric is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. But of course you wouldn't do that, because low and behold your the instigator stoking the flames with your hate speech. You make me sick to my stomach. I hope when you lose this election, that Alaskans make sure to kick you out as well.
