Keith Olbermann "Campaign Comment" On Palin: Are You Smarter Than A Third-Grader? (VIDEO)

Tonight Keith Olbermann, alarmed that his "Special Comments" were occurring with such frequency that they were no longer special, offered a "Campaign Comment" about Sarah Palin's continued confusion over the role and powers of the Vice President. The comment was titled, "Are you smarter than a third-grader?"

It was horrifying watching Mika Breszenski rationalize Palin's error a Palin was speaking in a simple manner because Palin was addressing a child. This was the most idiotic rational one could use.
This was the 4th time Palin has given this answer and it is incorrect for the 4th time.

What kind of parent would purposely teach their child an incorrect interpetation of American History that is clearly wrong just because the child is a third grader? Talk about dumbing down.

So easy to get "owned" when you preach to the choir every night. When you watch this clown talk to Maddow it's like a parrot in front of a mirror. Palin would get clobbered on his show but then again that is about as gutsy Keith would get in selecting an appearance by someone that disagrees with him.

Keith Olbermann is one of the best journalists on cable news. He is there to get the facts out and it's fine with me that he doesn't have guests on only to talk over them as they do on fox "news". He fills his show with nothing but truth and facts that we all need to be informed of as does Rachel Maddow. They are both doing this country a very important and badly needed service.

Palin is a cunning performer of the art of politics…she knows how to grab and use power to further her agenda. Her base desperately wants to believe she would be able to slap down a Democratic majority in the Senate, to bend them to her will. Her “answer” was a promise to them, and a warning to the rest of us.

I always try to find the positive aspects of any situation. I've been giving Sarah Palin a lot of thought in trying to find something positive about her. Here's what I've been able to come up with so far:

1) She's not blonde. (That's a positive thing for me, since I am blonde, and she would really be giving us a bad name.)

2) She'll be heading back to Alaska on November 5th. (Guess if I lived in Alaska that wouldn't be a positive thing, but, hey, I'm from Pennsylvania, so it's all good here!)

That's about all I could come up with so far, but I'll keep working on it.
