McCain Defends Ayers Robocalls: "He Was Friends With A Terrorist"

In an interview on CBS' "Early Show," John McCain defends his robocalls against Barack Obama, claiming that the Bill Ayers call is "exactly accurate" and relevant to the campaign.

Harry Smith: Even Sarah Palin has come out and said she would prefer that the robo calls stop. Your robo calls.

McCain: Well Sarah is a maverick. That robo call is exactly accurate. And by the way Sen. Obama's campaign is running robo calls as we speak. I'm sure Sarah and I have disagreed on some issues. You know, to, to think that somehow we are saying something not true in those calls is absolutely false.

He was friends with a terrorist and his wife, he was. And we need to know the full relationship.

I used to have respect for Senator McCain. He has lost that- and RoboCalls are a main issue. Senator Obama has disclosed the past and present. What part don't you understand? Senator McCain, why must you persist on dividing the USA into little sections? We will not tolerate the hate and intolerance from the RNC or your campaign. "How do you know Obama has not revealed everything he can about his relationship to Ayers?"
"What answer do you want to hear from Obama that will satisfy you in accepting his answer?"

We all know. He wants Obama to say "I support why Ayers bombed places and am starting my own resurgence of the Weathermen Underground, they kickstarted my campaign with money that without it I would have never entered politics and as to my relationship with his wife, well we did our own version of Wife Swap.".
I think THAT is the only answer that will satisfy McCain and the GOP!!!!!

Ok, why is this important? It's not at all. The fact is Obama STILL didn't meet Ayers until 30+ yrs after the fact of his bad behavior.

McCain is a card carrying member and the presidential nominee of the Republican Party. Jeb Bush is a card carrying member of the Republican Party and former governor of Florida during 9/11. Jeb Bush allowed Mohammed Atta to reside in Florida and take flying lessons, and he allowed Atta to have a driver's license. Mohammed Atta, was a known terrorist who planned the attacks on the US.
