At a John McCain rally in Virginia this past weekend, Mother Jones ran into a group of angry and frustrated McCain supporters looking for reporters to yell at. The now famous "Tito the Builder" was front and center. Here's what happened.

Informed people are such a delight in conversation. I've seen rabid dogs with better manners. Two words for those people: anger management.

They are minority plants to stop the press from talking to the real McCain supporters, did you notice "I'm Joe the plumber" thing, now the McCain campaign just released their ad based on that thing , is it a coincedence? I don't think so.

Instead of a campaign rally, they had a "Festival of Ignorance" sponsored in part by FAUX News.

Republicans have trained their followers to reject objective sources.

Yeah, really. I like how the citation of evidence located at specific non-partisan and scholarly sources is now "Do you believe /everything/ you read!?"

That was really difficult to watch. I almost feel sorry for these uneducated (read: dumb), working class types for being so utterly misinformed and passionate over a bag of lies and distortions put out my the Republican PR machine. Why is it that they don't see the truth? What makes them so blinded? Not that I look down on them. In fact, I want to help them see the truth, but yet even with solid proof and recorded history to persuade, they still refuse to. Why?? These weak-minded lemmings, where is your hope?

Inbreeding is bad.

Oh the irony, when one of the pinheads asks - "Do you believe everything you read?" Anyone want to bet on whether or not that guy can read at all? Somehow I get the feeling its faux news on the TV and rush in the car...

The Palin Doctrine - to spread ignorance. Pre-emptive educational withdrawl.

These people are pathetic! They are brainwashed to believe that the repub party is in their best interest, when in reality they would benifit more from Obama's plan. For years the repubs have baited them in on social issues, abortion.etc. and have never delivered. Ignorance is bliss!

It's so obvious, I'm new to this country and I saw right through the ruse.

The African lady really tripped me out. I could understand it if she were against Obama (not really...but for sake of argument), but to be for McCain, that is approaching Twilight Zone territory.

Like a vise, ignorance seizes and crushes intelligence. Stop turning that crank and take your head out of the vise is all I can say.

Exactly as for Joe the Plumber, those guys would get more help and relief under Obama, yet they vote for McCain because of all the misrepresentations and ideologic distractions they hear from McCain, Palin and Fox News.

Brainwashed.
