Poll: GOP Minority Leader McConnell Tied With Challenger

Lex 18:

A new poll shows that with just two weeks to go until election day, incumbent Republican Mitch McConnell and Democrat Bruce Lunsford are tied in the U.S. Senate race.

According to the Survey USA poll conducted for LEX 18, both McConnell and Lunsford have 48 percent of the vote. Back in August, McConnell lead by 12 percent.

Wow, this is really exciting, a Defeat for McConnell would be a Defeat for George W Bush's most important and helpful Enabler, Mitch McConnell used the 60 vote threshold in the senate to help W continue his war and drive the country into bankruptcy, what a glorious day for America if we can defeat this misguided obstacle and achieve peace in the Middle East and prosperity for everyone here at home.

You know, I'm starting to change my mind. Today, I heard that schmo Chuck Schumer on TV with a stupid smug grin on his face and predicting TWO WEEKS OUT that Obama was gonna grab over 300 electoral votes and basically issuing an "I told you so."

I trust Obama and his agenda, but I'm realizing that some of our Dem leaders are real jerks. I'm starting to worry that some of them are gonna go hog-wild. I wish that they would learn from the last 8 years and have some sense about unchecked powers, but I think they might be too power-mad and stupid. Don't get me wrong: I do want the Republican nutjobs like Bachmann and McConnell and Blunt out of there. But do we have to kick out the moderate Repubs like Chris Shays? Don't we need some check on the nutjobs from our side? Do you really want Robert Byrd and Charles Rangel attaching billion dollar pork spending to every bill without any pushback?

Maybe I'm just a bit light-headed from a long day, but I'm not sure we're doing Obama a huge favor by giving him an out of control Dem Congress running wild with their personal fiefdoms.
