Bill O'Reilly On "The View": Obama A "Communist," Olbermann Is "Jealous," Joy Calls Him "Devil"

Bill O'Reilly sat for two segments of "The View" on Wednesday and faced critic Joy Behar on the couch. Whoopi Goldberg was out sick, but the other four ladies sat by for a Q&A. Behar voiced her displeasure with O'Reilly, who sat claiming his neutrality and calling Obama a socialist.

Highlights of their verbal sparring include:

• O'Reilly calling Obama a "communist" as he and Elisabeth Hasselbeck chuckle
• O'Reilly telling Joy, "Your name is Joy, you should be joyful"
• Behar saying, "I don't hate you. I dislike you"
• O'Reilly saying that Keith Olbermann and other critics are "jealous"
• O'Reilly inviting Sarah Palin to the "Factor," saying, "I want her to come in. I have outfits she can wear!"
• Behar telling O'Reilly, "I don't believe anything you say"
• O'Reilly telling Behar she is a "Kool Aid drinker," with Behar responding, "You drank the Kool Aid on George Bush for eight years, Bill"
• Behar saying about a picture of O'Reilly as a kid, "That's what the devil will look like when he comes"
• O'Reilly and Behar sparring over the impact of "The View," with Joy proudly referencing the show's appearances in the New York Times as a political newsmaker

O'Reilly even made Sherri shriek.

Bill O'Rielly named the worst person in the world by none other than the devil incarnate. Keith Olberman is not even as good a "political analyst" as he is a sports anouncer. To call him a political analyst is the kindest thing I could think of because he is really a liberal hack bent on promoting the liberal agenda. He fansys himself as an intellectual; but wait---that is what most of the liberals do. They think that they are far more intelligent than any of us here on the right. And yet, they continue to do stupid things day in and day out. They don't seem to have learned that when a country becomes a socialist state that the entertainers and the intellectuals are the first to go along with the burning of books. Vote Democratic and deserve what you get.

I can't even believe that O'Reilly can actually say with a straight face that he's fair and balanced. It's so ludicrous. If he would just admit to be a Republican commentator, he would still have his audience but at that point he might have a little credibility as he spouts his nonsense.
I will acknowledge, though, that after interviewing Obama, he did start to actually see what we see... a respectful, respectable, thoughtful, thought-provoking capable individual. Personally, that's what I want for a President. If BillO chooses the other path, that's on him. Won't matter anyway.

The view shows its true colors and Elizabeth is the only one on her side of the fence to defend her choice in McCain/Palin.

It's official. Bill O'Reilly has successfully transcended the credibility gap. He has an "edibility" gap. No one can stomach him. When he and Hannity meet each other in the corridors of FOX news, no one can get by. Their egos are too big. Here are the facts. Fox has about 3.5 million viewers a day, compared to about 2 million for MSNBC, and 2 million for CNN. In the "money demographic" (25-54), Fox News has 950K, MSNBC 760K, and CNN 656K.

MSNBC even won the ratings battle for Tuesday (Fox News was behind both CNN and MSNBC).

I think Joy Behar is one of the most honest and real people I have seen on live television shows such as “The View”. She has a great personality and fantastic sense of humor. I think she could have a political career if she ever wanted one; I would vote for her in a heart beat. She stands up for WE THE PEOPLE (our constitutional rights – that includes my religious freedom with a SEPARATION of Church and State – so we do not fall under a One World Government with a One World Church like I think Rick Warren is leading many to....and could very well be the apostate church that will lead in the anti-christ). If anyone “listened” to O'Reilly closely, in my opinion - he essentially said it is OK for communism to exist to benefit the elite (financial bankers in the bail out bill) but not when it comes to the poor. You are totally wrong, Until recently the majority of the media was slanted toward the Republicans. ABC, CNN and several others besides the usual Fox were always pro Republican. What has changed is the economics. They like most Republican lovers also love money. They are seeing the economy tanking and are very aware that it was the Republican crusade against regulation that caused it and so now they don't want another idiot like Bush in the White House. If they have 3.56 million, MSNBC has 2, and CNN has 2, then there are 4 million people right there who are NOT for FOX.
