Chicago's Olympic Problem

Would you be willing to give up use of a prized lane on the Kennedy Expressway and South Lake Shore Drive for two weeks to help Chicago win the 2016 Olympics?

How about if, in so doing, Chicago could increase its odds of getting billions of federal dollars for new and improved Chicago Transit Authority and Metra service?

The athletes are getting all the attention, but the answer to questions like those above may mean more to the typical Chicagoan as the city enters the home stretch of its campaign to win the 2016 Summer Games.
