GOP Campaign Official: Obama's Ground Game So Much Better "It's Scary"

When your adversaries are praising you, you must be doing something right.

Listen to this from one top Republican campaign official who says Barack Obama's ground game is unlike anything we've ever seen before:

"This is the greatest ground game they've ever put together," he told ABC News on the condition of anonymity. "It's scary."

He said Obama holds a considerable ground game advantage over McCain and suggests the Democratic nominee has hundreds of paid staffers in each state.

Exactly...back when Bush Sr. spoke about the 'thousand points of light,' I thought of people working in their communities on a grass roots level. And when Bush Jr. puts so much emphasis on faith-based organizations, well, many churches emphasize community outreach/organizing.

The ground game is great because it's US, a cross section of the USA. . .every ethnicity, creed, income level, gender, and profession. . . . 10 bucks at a time, a phone call at a time, a door at a time.

The support, enthusiasm and just plain smart ol' common sense I've met while working for Obama (and reading Huffpost) has just overwhelmed me, and I am so proud of everyone.

The polls have no way to measure this unprecedented ground game Obama has in place. The models they are using are from 2000 and 2004. They are useless. There is an electoral shift going on in this country that hasn't existed in years.

85 percent of the people think we are heading in the wrong direction. Obama passed the gravitas test by winning all three debates convincingly. Obama is overwhelming McCain's ground operation with huge numbers of paid staff and volunteers. He's shattered fund raising records. This election is NOT going to be close. Obama wins with a minimum of 340 electoral votes.
