When your adversaries are praising you, you must be doing something right.

Listen to this from one top Republican campaign official who says Barack Obama's ground game is unlike anything we've ever seen before:

"This is the greatest ground game they've ever put together," he told ABC News on the condition of anonymity. "It's scary."

He said Obama holds a considerable ground game advantage over McCain and suggests the Democratic nominee has hundreds of paid staffers in each state.

I believe what TroubleNYC means is W's ground game included lots of attorneys and people to overwhelm polling places with intimidation and red hot disenfranchisement in their eyes.

Remember, Gore won the popular vote by more than half a million...

...and the Supreme Court case was entitled Bush v. Gore, meaning Bush was the plaintiff petitioning the court to stop the recount.

Palin is such a conversation piece because people are still bewildered that she was chosen for a key executive position - and yet displays no competency whatsoever to fill that role. Palin's experience as a governor is subjective and relative. With a small state population, it doesn't sound like there was much complexity in her role. She wouldn't stand a chance of being elected as mayor of Chicago - whose population is more than her state. Our city government is way more sophisticated than her state government. She wouldn't last one day in City Hall. The Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times would have a field day disparaging her with unflattering editorials.

I have this feeling that Obama may win. McCain will concede the election and there will still be long lines at the polls, people insisting on getting their opportunity to vote for Barack Obama in this election. I believe the numbers at the polls will be unprecented.
