"Gossip Girl" Taylor Momsen Hospitalized With Life-Threatening Infection

Taylor Momsen was released Wednesday afternoon from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following treatment for a "severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection.

"I have been treating Miss Taylor Momsen for the last few days," Momsen's doctor, Shawn Nasseri, tells Usmagazine.com. "She has been hospitalized for a severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection since Sunday.

"She has been an excellent patient, and after aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days," the doctor adds.

oh good god, why are celebrities always getting such life threating illnesses like exhaustion. It's ridiculous. She's sick for a couple of days, and it's life threatening! I guess they love drama, hence the profession they are in I guess

Many claim exhaustion but it's really an emotional break down like Mariah Carey or low ticket sales like they're saying about Janet Jackson.
