As news of Sarah Palin's $150,000 shopping spree unfolds, The Atlantic reveals that Sarah Palin's personal shopper, Jeff Larson, has an interesting resumé.

Does the name Jeff Larson sound familiar? It should. Larson is the Karl Rove protégé who's a principal in the robocalling firm of FLS Connect (the "FLS" stands for Tony Feather, Jeff Larson, and Tom Syndhorst, all veteran Republican political operatives). Larson's firm is the same one that launched the scurrilous robocalls against John McCain in 2000, and that McCain has now hired to make robocalls connecting Barack Obama to Bill Ayers. He's also well known in Minnesota for leasing his basement apartment at a steeply discounted rate to embattled Republican Senator Norm Coleman. Evidently, Larson also has quite the eye for women's fashion. Even hateful liberals would have to admit that Palin dresses awfully nicely.

Keep reading to see the Schedule F form that lists Larson as the purchaser of, among other things, $75,062.63 in clothes and accessories at Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis.

Who cares?

Sure wish Dems were bright enough to address issues, such as the increased "earned income credit checks" Obama wants to give people who don't pay taxes and not the clothing women candidates are wearing.

I had a sad moment for Hillary the other day when she said (paraphrasing) that nobody should
'assume' anything .... a lesson she learned the hard way, to be sure!

Hillary understands that while a candidate can be the frontrunner for a long time, at the end of the day, all that really counts, is the VOTE .... it would be a shame if Obama supporters took victory for granted, and stayed home on November 4.

GO VOTE EARLY if you can .... but VOTE ! Take NOTHING for granted, it aint over 'till it's OVER ....

GO VOTE EARLY if you can ... you or someone you love might get sick on Nov 3 or 4 and you
might be unable to go!

GO VOTE EARLY if you can .... there may be problems at the precincts .... don't be caught out !

GO VOTE EARLY if you can ... Obama has been working his butt off for 2 yrs, just for this one
DAY .... don't let him down, when he needs YOU

GO VOTE EARLY if you can .... elections are won one vote at a time, and the result lasts 4 yrs!

I don't think she dresses that well-
She sort of looks like a drag-queen.
Now I understand why- a dude brought her clothes-
Scary.......

I've received four issues surveys from the RNC and five requests for money from McCain (who sees me as his friend, too!). I took the time to complete each of the surveys, answering the questions how I felt they would not want them answered (had to be careful at times due to how the questions were worded), wrote a statement about how disgusted I am with the Republican Party, and mailed them back -- just doing my best to skew their results. On McCain's money requests, I simply wrote "I am voting for Barack Obama" and mailed them. My guess is they had to pay the return postage since they were marked "postage paid by . . .". I thought for sure after the first return, I would be purged from their lists, but no, they simply sent another.
Well, maybe they have me purged from the voting rolls.
Just thought of something regarding the surveys, though -- with the screwy campaign they've run, maybe I can take part of the credit for it!!? Hah!!

I've been doing something similar with the hate-mail I've been getting from the RNC with smear attacks against Obama. I don't even break the seals on the pamphlettes; I write "Return to Sender" and drop it back in the mailbox.

Maybe if they get enough of these they'll get the message.

The American people will speak on Nov. 4th and the silent majority will send these thugs back to thedrawing board, but hopefully they will be there a loooooooooooooooooooooong time, we have had eight miserable years of what they can do to our wonderful country!!!

Mr Larson and I use the MR without respect for the man, was reimbursed by the RNC after his show of support was noted and might have seemed illegal by many. Funny how he knew the sizes and all. I guess Palin and fam from the wilds had no clue how to even dress so someone had to do it right? When Michelle Obama went on The View so much was made of her $148 off the rack dress one would have thought she bought it from like Saks or somewhere like it! I loved it when the interivew with the kids pointed out she does all her shopping, or most of it at The Gap. It shows how a sensible woman with good taste can buy with her means and look so wonderful people talked like she spent much more than she did. Also Obama's ten year old pants holey shoes and frayed belt showed his way of shopping opposed to McCain $550 shoes for one pair. Yeah Larson is one guy whose not at the top of anyones list to call favorite except for McCain whose using the same man who targeted him 8 years ago shows no class at all.

Wonder how many pieces of thhis $150,000 wardrobe were designed and made by "real" American? Wonder if they were Union Made? Or does the "Country First" motto not apply to their own purchases?
They can't have it both ways, either their kids are fiar game and part of the campaign, or they are not! Paying for their clothing with campaign money makes them what campaign props?

So the baby clothes are a "campaign accessory" too? "Pacifier" is a baby store in Minneapolis.

Just guessing, but it seems that Jeff Larsen ("poisonous Republican robo call guy and fashion maven") worked his magic first on Senator Norm Coleman who he kept in the basement and dressed up in fancy suits. For nights out or in?

Then, after Mr. McCain hired him to do unto Obama what Rove and Larsen had done unto McCain in South Carolina (namely poison the well against McCain's "supposedly illegitimate black daughter" who turned out to be his adopted Bangladeshi daughter), he also hired Larsen as a fashion consultant for Mrs. Hockey Mom. Republican poison-maker turns fashion maven? Only in America.

Is this guy gay or Karl Rove's secret lover or what? Just asking? And what's his "basement" connection with Norm Coleman?Sounds a little weird to me, but then I'm straight and live only with my wife and young son. You keep a Senator in your basement and he pays less-than-market rates, too? Sorry, something's fishy with Larsen and Coleman. Definitely odd.

Anyway, If Sarah Palin's new Republican clothes were actually a person, they would qualify for a cut under Obama's new tax plan.

Ironies abound here in the world of second-place Miss Alaska.

May she soon return to the tundra from which she came.

Did you know John McCain has been been sending out "my friend" letters soliciting campaign funds from registered Democrats? I received several asking for an "Emergency Membership Contribution of $35, $50, $100, $500 or even more if you can afford it." I guess they are now in such desperate need for money to pay for the robocalls, Palin's expensive clothes and other nasty tactics that they are now resorting to asking the Democrats for money. Unbelievable!

The conduct of the GOP in this election has fallen to a new all time low. I didn't think we'd ever witness a debacle worse than the one in Florida in the 2000 election. I didn't think the Republicans could top that one... but they managed to prove me wrong.

I will be glad when Sarah goes back to Alaska and Sen. McCain retires... Maybe he should take a lead from MacArthur's farewell speech (comment not meant to insult the general), "Old soldiers never die... they just fade away. At 72 maybe it's time for Sen McCain to fade away... and if he does perhaps he can take Bushonomics with him.

I thought they were not allowed to fundraise for the McCain camp since he accepted public funding? They sure know how to get into the loopholes of the law don't they?

Got nothing else going on around here but to talk about Palens clothes...wow.

We're talking about the destruction of her image as just an ordinary hockey mom.

At best she's an ordinary hockey mom who's a tool of the Republican elite.

We're talking about a woman who is a prop who they needed to dress up. Unlike Obama, Biden AND McCain ... she did not pay for the clothese HERSELF. THAT IS THE POINT ... not what she is wearing but WHO PAID FOR IT!!

Instead of buying all those clothes, couldn't someone have bought her a copy of the US Constitution so she could understand the responsibilities of the VP?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 11:17 PM on 10/22/2008

Thank you for saying that. When I heard her say that her job as VP was to lead the Congress, I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. The part of me that thinks she's a joke wanted to laugh... the part of me that fears the same people who voted GW in for a second term might help McCain and Palin win wanted to cry.

The copy of the Constitution should be accompanied by a tutor because knowing her limited intellect, she would need somebody to translate the document in very simple terms, perhaps draw it in a picture type format!

According to the Atlantic article the Schedule F which campaigns are required to file with the FEC shows the purchases at Neimon Marcus, Bloomingdales, Saks 5th Ave and others, the McCain-Palin campaign has outfitted the hockey mom illegally according to FEC Campaign Laws of 2008. § 439a. Use of contributed amounts for certain purposes. (b) Prohibited use (B) a clothing purchase;

Someone will have to pay this back I betcha!

Wow... all Joe six-packs and hockey moms spend 18,000/week on clothes... haha, and she thinks Obama is the celebrity.
