LOS ANGELES — Julianne Hough is feeling fine after being hospitalized with stomach trouble following her "Dancing With the Stars" performance.

"With stomach problems, you never know what's going on," Hough wrote in a FanCast posting. "It could've been appendicitis. It turned out just to be a bad stomach. As my mom said, better safe than sorry."

Hough said she hadn't been feeling well all day and "curled up in a ball" backstage after the show.

"I'd never been in an emergency room before," she wrote. "I was grateful I wasn't there for anything more serious than a bad stomach ache."

I love Julianne, but this business of a Dancing With The Stars dancer being rushed to the hospital is becoming as rare as a KO "Special Comment."

This is the most adorable young lady in the public eye.

Why do celebrities always check into the hospital for the least serious reasons? Can't they just go to the doctor like the rest of us?

It's pretty obvious to me why this happened. - No one ever taught her how to point her toes.

However entertaining, this show borders on dangerous. It pushes non professionals and the professionals to the extreme. I'm surprised someone has not be more seriously injured or died as a result of this marathon competition.

The pace, demands and expectations by the judges should be lessoned. The interest and entertainment value would still be there.

I had a sad moment for Hillary the other day when she said (paraphrasing) that nobody should 'assume' anything .... a lesson she learned the hard way, to be sure!

Hillary understands that while a candidate can be the frontrunner for a long time, at the end of the day, all that really counts, is the VOTE .... it would be a shame if Obama supporters took victory for granted, and stayed home on November 4.

GO VOTE EARLY if you can .... but VOTE ! Take NOTHING for granted, it aint over 'till it's OVER ....

GO VOTE EARLY if you can ... you or someone you love might get sick on Nov 3 or 4 and you might be unable to go!

GO VOTE EARLY if you can .... there may be problems at the precincts .... don't be caught out !

GO VOTE EARLY if you can ... Obama has been working his butt off for 2 yrs, just for this one DAY .... don't let him down, when he needs YOU

GO VOTE EARLY if you can .... elections are won one vote at a time, and the result lasts 4 yrs!

I agree with the spirit of your post - but it is completely off-topic here. You hurt your message by posting it inappropriately.

I hope that Julianne is fine. I wonder if this stomach problem was the reason why she didn't perform her song last night? She danced the encore wonderfully, but didn't let America hear her beautiful voice.

I think she is a great entertainer and was thinking what a perfect fit for Broadway she would be. Dolly's 9 - 5???? Just a thought!

Another deceptive headline, unless Hough was admitted and stayed there overnight.
