I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Randy Scheunemann

This morning, for reasons beyond understanding, the McCain campaign is going to have a conference call, in which they will presumably turn down the endorsement of al Qaeda. They'll also probably try to run a little bit of reverse-psychology jujitsu on the reporters, gathered for what will hopefully be the Greatest Campaign Conference Call of 2008. This stratagem was advanced, briefly, in the Washington Post article on this news, which included this statement: "Some terrorism experts said the support for McCain could be mere bluster by a group that may have more to fear from a McCain presidency." Who are, "some terrorism experts?" I'm guessing McCain adviser Randy Scheunemann, who will be doing the conference call.

Chances are, Scheunemann will lament the fact that al Qaeda doesn't spend enough time listening to Joe Biden, and everyone should probably take a drink at the almost certain invocation of Bill Ayers' name. Some reporter should probably ask Scheunemann why Barack Obama doesn't inspire the necessary hatred in our enemies to wake up every morning and go to their terror training camps to jam across those monkey bars with jihadist passion. Just words? Anyway, the bottom line is that John McCain probably wishes al Qaeda would have taken the time to sit down with Sarah Palin and listen to her qualifications before rendering their judgment.

This morning, for reasons beyond understanding, the McCain campaign is going to have a conference call, in which they will presumably turn down the endorsement of al Qaeda. They'll also probably try ...

One more trick up their sleeves at the 11th hour. Binladen does endorse McCain and the fall of our economy. Multiple wars with all of our rescources and economy in ruin. That was what 9/11 is all about. The war in afghanistan ruined the russians economy. They are hoping mccain will win and they will get stronger ?

But the big questions of the day are . . .

Will Sarah Palin be wearing a $25,000 designer burkah to meet with Al Qaeda and thank them for their endorsement?

Will she bring Brisket, Todd, and all the other Palins too? And who will she charge their air fares to?

I have to thank you for this line, it made me laugh out loud. I really needed it too. With all the crapulence spewing from the McChurian/Failin campaign I almost have no more capacity for outrage, and was feeling quite depressed.

Once again,
Thank You!

Here's my take on the spin that will, no doubt, take place. McCain will claim that Al Qeada wants to appear to be endorsing him so that people will be scared $&*#-less and vote for Obama, which is who they REALLY want to be president - because we all know the McCain camp has been spreading rumors for months that Obama is Muslim....

Does this make sense?

Yes, in fact I see it coming. However I think (hope) that at this point in the game there really aren't any undecideds left. Everyone knows who they are going to vote for, if they havent already, and nothing will change their mind.

But what if they thought that we would think that.
ie. They endorse McCain because they know we would think its reverse psychology and think they wanted us to vote Obama, leading us to vote for McCain.
When all along they really want us to vote for McCain to being with.
sons of biatches!!

(Reminds me of a scene in the movie Princess Bride)

Nothing makes sense where John McCain is concerned. His campaign has been circling around and around, like a dog chasing its tail.

There are two ways to look at this:

1) they do support mccain because they think we really cannot get them and will continue bankrupting ourselves to try

2) they think an obama presidency will cause so much internal strife in America that we will destroy ourselves in a new civil war.

In both cases, the GOP and their supporters are the problem that al-qeada is trying to stir...interesting huh??

Alternatively, they're less than pleased by the prospect of an American President being admired rather than despised by the rest of the world.

They'll blame Obama because he didn't do those 19 million Town Hall meetings with McStoopid.

McCain Money News Roundup for Oct. 21, 2008

Bloomberg’s Jonathan D. Salant also takes note of the fact that big money still plays a big role in presidential politics, noting that 47 bundlers have raised, combined, at least $23.5 million for the Democratic nominee. Meanwhile, McCain’s 538 bundlers have raised at least $77.8 million for him. These bundlers are often from industries the candidates routinely criticize on the trail, such as lobbying and financial services.

Finally, in more (hopefully) lighthearted news, Russia’s UN ambassador got a few laughs from his colleagues this week by showing off a fundraising letter he received from McCain’s campaign (campaigns aren’t allowed to accept money from foreign sLobbyists.comain'sLobbyists.com

The McCain campaign having a conference call to put out yet another fire seems to be a daily occurrence. They must be seeing stars and have attacks of vertigo from all the spinning they're having to do. Every day, it's something new.

Can you imagine a McCain administration? It would be worse than the present one, and that would take some doing, folks.

Well, with all that Middle East oil, seems like there a lot of fuel to keep those daily fires burning.

If McCain can't run an effective presidential campaign, how can he run an effective government?

Did Al Qaeda consider that before making this irresponsible recommendation??? Hmmm, maybe they did.

I am so confused. This clearly seems Rovian, and the timing is right. How does this help McCain? How does it help Obama?

Then tomorrow McCain will probably blame Obama for the endorsement because Obama hasn't repudiated it.

McCain keeps repeating that he has been tested. Sure he has been. But not on a national level where his decision affects the whole country and the world. So to use his stint as a POW and the fact that he was on an air craft carrier waiting for orders during the Cuban Missle crisis is not the testing one needs to deal with terror threats or threats from other nations like China and Russia. If this is the case then the 19 yr old kid in Iraq right now is qualified to be President too because he is "tested". Unless you were president before and had to deal with a major crisis, you have never been tested and i think people like Bill Clinton would agree with this. If McCain wants to get technical then it is safe to say that he was tested with the whole Economic meltdown and he failed big time. Any new president, no matter who it is, will be tested. being tied up in a prison for 5 years does not make you more qualified than anyone to make the right decisions. Judgment is what it all boils down to and judgment is what McCain lacks. Biden was right, Obama will be tested, but so will McCain if he becomes President. and this notion that terrorists fear a McCain presidency more then an Obama presidency is just pure garbage.

mcPOS been tested

And

Has failed miserably.

He lies about hopping a plane to DC to solve the economic crisis (Lying to Dave Letterman is not sound judgment, mcPantsOnFire), showing up and groveling to Dave Letterman afterward doesn't help.

Just 2 instances of his incompetence.
