Palin Voice Coach Billed As "Get Out The Vote" Expense

Shanks's work with Sarah Palin was as evident as it was unseen. Gone, by the evening of her convention speech, was the squeaky register of Palin's exclamations. Gone (at least for the moment) was the Bushian pronunciation of "nuclear" as "nook-you-ler." Present for the first time was a leisurely, even playful cadence that signaled Sarah Palin's inevitability on this grand stage.

Shanks' name does appear in McCain's campaign finance report.

It's reported as: "Operating Expenditures / GOTV CONSULTING."

As in "Get Out the Vote."

This is starting to make quite the tally $150,000 on wardrobe, $20,000 tanning bed, ??? vocal coach...

I guess they were hoping to hide the fact that she is a sham on the American People by dressing her up all purty??? Too bad, they can't keep her mouth shut long enough to get away with it!!!

I dislike Palin as much as the next guy, but the whole tanning bed thing was already explained.­..Palin apparently paid for it herself. Don't really feel like looking for a link to a story that old at the moment, but I'm sure you could find it rather easily.

If that's true I concede on the Tanning Bed... But that's a big IF??? There are a LOT of expenses that should've come out of her own pocket... Like, living in her "own" house for two months, her kids travel expenses, etc. that have been paid by Alaska Tax Payers... so again I say IF?
